What are your thoughts, experiences, amd opinions on the Faeht Intel Warbird? And the intel ship powers, gimmicky or not?
What about using the enhanced battle cloak for a regular mixed weapons that is not a straight torp boat bomber?
Like when i was in the T'Varo and cloaked i would keep firing the torp and it gave me away and drew fire with the shields down, problem.
Wanted to hear from owners whether is it good and you love it or not.
Thanks.

When it comes to Stealth and torps, there are consoles, triats and skills you can get that reduce your "exposure" when firing, like the Rule 62 Ferengi console from the Lobi store. Also having Boffs that improve stealth always helps
In short, if you like smaller craft that kick-TRIBBLE, then the Faeht is definitely one for you, and becasue it gets a very respectable HP, you can tank in it as well, if you keep your heals and regens going during a battle

Either all cannons, or beams, or cannons with 1 torp, or beams with 1 torp.

The Faeht gets EBC and it shouldn't be wasted. I personally love it as a stealth bomber. I've got another romulan in a Morrigu for when I want to do cannon pew pew.
Torp boats? Perhaps a doable alternative, but I wouldn't look at that direction. I'd call the Pilot Science escort ship will do more due to the sci consoles, though, the OSS saves the day.
Edit: Wow, they censor fa'rt?
Enhanced battlecloak allows you to use some Aux abilities normally disabled while cloaked, and it does grant a hefty defense bonus. Can't fire energy weapons from cloak, though, so it's torps only for that playstyle.
It's quite possible to wreck stuff with the Faeht without using any of its special qualities, but the 4/3 layout doesn't make it remarkable for pew pew and the lack of a commander Sci station leaves it wanting as a true space mage. The Intel gimmicks are useful on big targets like gateways, dreadnoughts and so on, especially with multiple Intel ships building up stacks together, but smaller things simply blow up too fast for it to matter.
I run mine with override safeties and surgical strikes - amazing how fast a single enemy will melt away. That Setup doesn'T give highest dps, but dps isn'T everything...
KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
TOS: 1 tac
all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
highest DPS: 60.982
Any ship is capable of this with the current level of power creep. 100k does still require experience and practice. For people looking for alternatives to the FAW meta, this ship is really nice. It offers multiple ways to go with that. That's one of the reasons why I like this ship, to take a break from FAW and try something different. With a bit more min-maxing, you can do well over 100k with Surgical Strikes itself.

Faeht is kind of sort of like the KDF B'Rels and T'Varos/Malems. Projectiles gain a lot of usefulness from the Enhanced Battle Cloak. IMO, this was more for a PVP aspect because it's not all together useful in PVE and NPC instantly shoot at you when you temporarily dip out of cloaks to fire the torps. This is a big advantage in PVP because you were able to maintain stealth while attacking from weird directions that the target isn't ready to deal with.
FYI, you do not even temporarily dip out of cloaks when you drop MINES. Torpeduz, yes, Mines, no!
In PVP, I had tremendous fun doing "assymetrical" fighting with the B'Rel so the Faeht should be even better. With OSS3+SS3 and other buffs, she is a monster coming out of cloaks with energy weapons blazing. Intel is also good for supporting the stealth aspect of the ship (Jam Sensors, Intel Team, etc).
That said, as I've been pointing out, Faeht has tremendous PVP applications. But if you're talking PVE and looking at raw DPS and survivability, Faeht falls behind. T6 Mogai for example is tough and extremely lethal, while still having Intel access to OSS3. The Pilot Ships are faster, handle better, have 5 fwd weapons, coming in a variety of flavors, and have Pilot Maneuvers to get you out of trouble. The Pilot Ships are monsters.
That's not to say in PVE you can't have fun and be effective with the Faeht. Like the B'Rels, T'Varos, Malems, they are flimsy ships but you can make them do good things. In Regular PVE Pew-Pew Land, there are better, more straight forward Tactical oriented Warbirds.
