T6 BoP - Thoughts?

Considering getting this for my KDF Science toon. She's flying the T5 version as a "stealth bomber" - staying cloaked most of the time letting rip with torpedoes.

Is the T6 version a significant upgrade on the T5 for those that have both?

    One extra console, one extra LTC level boff ability, pilot spec seating if you want it. Yes it is an upgrade.

    The only mark against it is the trait isn't useful for torpedo stealth bombing.

    The Fleet T6 version of the B'Rel compared to its Fleet T5U is simply better. Console slots the same, very slightly tougher. It has Specialization access but more importantly is that one of the T5 Lt Universal Stations became LtCmdr in the T6. KDF BOPs already have the penalty of -1 BOFF ability slots to do what they do, the only ships in the game that pay any price, so IMO, the extra BOFF ability slot from T6 is the most important part of the ship to give you more flexibility.

    Everything else is still the same, so whatever build you had going for you at T5 will be simply improved with the T6 version.

    That's pretty much what I thought - and I now have a shiny new ship to level up (well, for my cannon wielding toons anyway) :)

    Yeah, kinda weird the way they did the trait, but the trait is very useful on something like a Scimi or Kolasi. My Reman uses it with his Scimi.
