Missing NPC Overhead Icons

Reinstalled the game yesterday thinking a fresh install would do it good but for some reasons I can no longer see any Overhead Icons above NPC's heads, I cannot find any setting to change this, does anyone know how to fix this?

    Old post but I've now experienced this same problem. A reset to default in the HUD didn't work.
