Not able to change outfits

I'm not able to access my second outfit slot in Star Trek Online. I can see the second outfit slot and even modify it. However when I press X to wear it, it simply doesn't activate. This only started happening after one of the updates. What can I do to correct this problem. This is for Star Trek Online for PS4

    We have the same bug on Xbox for over 6 weeks now. So hopefully they fix it soon.

    Also having the same issue, yeah for about 6 weeks now.

    I've contacted support, but ticket turn-around sucks. I'm really starting to regret that lifetime membership I paid almost $200 for...
