Rock & Roll animation broken

since the expansion release the animation that plays when Rock & Roll ability (pilot spec) is used, the animation used for the ability seems to have an issue. the ship will either not have the animation play, or it will reach the apex of the spiral, and suddenly 'jump' to its final position. or it sometime goes to start the spiral and suddenly stops and never finishes. as far as I can tell, the effects of rock & roll, do occur, just not the associated animation.

vessels I have witnessed this issue on:

T6 Fleet Manticore
T6 Defiant
T6 Samsar
T6 Vorgon summer ship

I am sure it occurs on others as well. if I feel like it, I will add other vessels I see the broken animation on, as I use the other ships in my personal armada.

I've had it happen as well with my Martok Bortasqu' on my characters. Between that and steering issues because it for some ungodly reason, loves to lock my ship in a straight line while i'm trying to turn.

well rock & roll does lock the steering while power is active. your only supposed to go in a straight line doing a spiral with temp immunity and temp speed boost. is that what your talking about are you talking about steering issues without the use of rock & roll on your bortasqu. BTW I have the free bortasqu, is this the ship your using or do you have the Cstore version(s)? I would like to test it out myself. I don't really know about other factions because I'm a Fed. I have other factions toons, but haven't accessed them since LOR came out or when there was a free (non-grind) ship released for that faction

With the T5 Aquarius Light Escort, it doesn't do the spiral at all. It just launches forward.

This has been an issue on all my ships that use this ability. The only one that semi-uses it properly is my T6 excelsior class. and then it just does an upside down flight move and reverts to right side up real quick.

yeah, my T5-U fleet aquarius has never been able to do the R&R animation either

since AoY cam out none of the ships I have are able to successfully complete the R&R animation. also another issue has popped while not related to R&R, is related to preset animations not playing

since the addition of AoY, the warp out animation does not play if there are other player around in a map. this includes social maps. the warp drive spin up sound will play, but the ship never warps out. It either just sits there, or if I was at impulse before I warp out I will continue forward on impulse, and then the map load screen shows. both issues are really experience breaking bugs.

Both rock and roll and warp out animations have been borked for a loooong time now. All ships, all factions, all races, solo, or in a group. I think both of those animations somehow got tied into the lock box RNG, if the RNG gods smile on you, you get the animation, if not, you don't.
