Delphic Distortion set from the lobi store

Is the Delphic Distortion set from the lobi store meant to be out yet? I haven't seen a blog post or any mention of it anywhere.

Set is [Delphic Distortion Torpedo Mk XII] firs an extra high yield torp everytime a high yield ability is activated. 10 sec reload. 33% to -10 damage. resistance. 20% crit severity

[Dual Overcharged Delphic Antiproton Beam Bank Mk XII] adds an extra beam overload after 10 fires. 33% to -10 damage resistance. %20 crit severity

[Console - Universal - Interphase Quantum Distributor Mk XII] seems to be bugged does not work at all and doesn't give any stat bounces like it said it should. 22.5 Extra starship hull pen, 22.5 extra starship impulsive expertise but does not work :(

2 piece set 11.7% crit severity and 1.2% crit chance

3 piece set adds an extra high yield torp everytime Dual Overcharged Delphic Antiproton Beam Bank stacks to fire an exrtra beam overload

That's the gist of it. Didnt feel like typing up all the stats

Lobi sets get released with new lock boxes... so ya not out of the ordinary.

Sets not working properly when they are released... also not out of the ordinary.

Seems to fit the theme, so I'm guessing deliberate release. There's also the Delphic Tear console that comes from the Lockbox that I don't recall getting any mention either, and the passives on that are getting fixed with the current Tribble patch, so also intended to be out. You should make a post in the Bugs subforum about the issue with the Lobi console, as a post there about the Lockbox console actually got a dev reply and it's already got a fix on Tribble. Of course, reporting via the in-game /bug tracker would be a good idea too.

Thanks for the specs on the set bonus. I'm tempted to try it out on Tribble along with the new Lobi Sci ship.

This is the first lobi space weapon set they've put out in years
Years? Don't be silly, plasmatic biomatter set was added last year.

Tested on the current build of Tribble, and only the % Exotic boost is working for that console still.

I think it might be either early or bugged, since if one looks, the info text seems to be a copy and paste of the old Chroniton Lobi set info text...

^Words that every player should keep in mind, especially whenever there's a problem with the game...

This console is still not functioning properly, even though the patch notes said it was fixed.

Not the same console. The patch notes said the Delphic Tear Generator console, not the Interphase Quantum Distributor console. What was fixed for the IQD was the description.

No description has been changed though. And it still only functions as a cat 1 exotic boost.

Console is busted, and the HY from the 3pc bonus is either tripping (or overwriting) the HY from Torpedo Barrage, or isn't activating when the Beam Overload is. Didn't feel like doing extensive tests at the time. Will test later.

For a torpedo starship playing the high-end (assumption that everything works properly): 2pc of torp + console = worth it. 3pc, not worth it. 10 firing cycles takes way too long.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.

That I can partly tell you. It certainly goes off when BO does (though I agree that the three piece in general isn't worth it, due to length of time to get the buff. I feel this should change from per cycle to per shot. Or reduce the number of cycles needed.).

I can't say for sure that it is overwriting TB, though it certainly would not surprise me. And honestly, if you are noticing something wonky there, your word is good enough for me. I wonder though, if it affects TB, is it also possibly affecting CF?

So the Delphic Tear console is not working at all on the Live server right now? And only the Exotic Damage % bonus is working on Tribble?

The Delphic Tear console is the one that comes directly from the Lock Box. This is something completely different than the Lobi set.

I think the Delphic Tear console is working as it should.

The Delphic Tear console from the Lockbox is now fixed and working properly, very nice console btw.

Both the set and the Tear have something in common - DELPHIC. The Lockbox and Lobi Store stuff added was about who? Correct, the Sphere Builders.

That all being said, my Temporal Recruit was going to get the Lobi Temporal Warfare Set as soon as they had a Lobi Store sale (it's already very late this year if they are going to have one). After looking things over I will probably get the Delphic Set instead.

The other thing about this set is IT IS VERY RARE. Up to this point all Lobi Space sets were RARE. Now when Cryptic introduced the Item Upgrade System all the Ground Equipment was upgraded to Very Rare from Rare. Not sure why they did not do that with the Space Equipment. I mean really, for 200 Lobi a pop it should have been Very Rare to begin with.

Back to the off-topic Delphic Tear Console, all of my Science Characters picked one up today. If not for those off-topic posts I never would have known about it. The News Blog was very imprecise (to be generous) as to the entire contents of the Lockbox.

So the complaint about the console not working properly is that you don't get an additional high-yield one from torpedo barrage after getting a high-yield one from the set?

Might that not be working as intended? It seems from the descriptions that the very next torpedo fired would benefit from the deal so maybe they're both being applied simultaneously and you're only getting one high-yield one out of it.

    That's one person's complaint.

My complaint has to do with what stats are being received from the console. Consider, that at Mark 14 epic, I show that I should receive the following stats:

    +18.8% exotic damage
    +28.1 Starship Impulse Expertise
    +28.1 Starship Hull Penetration

The problem is that the only stat being received is the +18.8% exotic damage. There is no added Hull Penetration when you look at the stats. There is also no added Impulse Expertise when looking at the stats, or an increase to flight speed or turn rate, as one might suspect they would receive.

The game is probably made so they can't go over 100 for those so it will most likely never be fixed ever

    That makes no sense whatsoever.

Other stats easily go over 100. There is nothing about those two stats that should not be able to.

On toons where I only have 85 in a skill, it should still bring it up to 100. It does not.

Inspirational Leader easily shows these skills going over 100 when it procs.

Particle Feedback Loop shows Hull Penetration going to 250.

I am certain there are others, but those are the two I have access to right now.

The console is just simply broken, and needs to be fixed. There is simply no justification for it to be released broken, then claimed to be fixed, and still be in the same state as when it was released.
