Klingon faction BOF on Exchange (i see only Fed) ?

Hello,
I have Klingon character (still at the beginning of the game), and i wanted to buy some Bridge officer from the exchange, but i see mostly Fed Bof, and very few Klingon faction BOF ...
As a klingon from Klingon faction, may i use Fed BOF ?

Click the "Show Only Usable Items" at the bottom of the Exchange window to see KDF BOffs.

You cannot use Fed BOffs.

You'll get enough Boffs from playing the game to fill out your ship stations (from mission rewards and levelling up), might want to consider holding off on buying more for now.

It is clicked... for this reason, i do not understand why i can see Starfleet Bridge officers as a Klingon Captain in the Exchange ...

Yes, i am aware of this, i have 2 other characters, one Fed LV 60+ and one Romulan lv 60+
If i gone to the Exchange it was to try to have a BOF with Space traits (i do not like too much the Nausicaans) ... All my BOF have only Ground traits...

Space traits are nice, but not worth worrying about if your boffs don't have them. Also, if you play through the Delta stories you get the potato-head with efficiency and pirate.

Also, you'll never find a Klingon or Orion with space traits on the Exchange, those races do not get space traits.

TRIBBLE, i do not want to see a Nausicaan or Lethean Face in the Comm windows... I am not too fan of Mr Potatoe too ... Seriously, would u want to see his face each time there is a communication window ?
I would have preferred an Orion/Klingon woman, anything which is...
i am very far from Delta Quadrant, i am LV 13

The boosts are small, why not go with a face that won't stop a clock?

I guess, it is not working properly on the console at this moment. Try filtering on Descending Price. Since the KDF faction player base is smaller than that of the Fed, KDF Boffs are typically more expensive than Fed Boffs.

Once the Duty Officer System gets implemented, then at should alleviate your problem since Doff missions for get Boff candidates are somewhat common and probably have something like a 60 hour - 72 hour cooldown.

If you have the cash, try buying the Delta Operations Pack from C-store. Not only for the Bridge Officers for each faction (which have some space traits for klingons) but for DOFFS and some good ship options.
Otherwise your only real options as a KDF captain are Efficient Letheans, Pirate Nausicaans and getting Marauding DOFFing to tier 4 to get a Leadership Human, then the potato later.
Nausicaans have a fairly big face mask option in tailor so you only see their eyes if you don't like their mouths, btw.

Klingon faction more officer are expensive than Federation officer, i think very few people play as klingon, may be for this reason there is very few Klingon faction BOF...

What about the Romulan ? Can we use them ? I see a different icon (not the Federation, not the Klingon) in the exchange ...

We do not have Delta Pack on Console (on PS4 sure, Xbox i do not know), for Klingon faction, we can buy the Ferasan (but it reming me too much Elder Scroll Kajiit) the Liberated Borg at a cost of 500 Zen (5 Euro)... For Federation Faction, we can get for 500 Zen (5euro) the Aenar or the Caitian (kajiit from Elder Scrolls)

I think they missed Space traits for Klingon Faction BOF... I will try to get a Borg, they are on the Exchange for 500 000 Energy credit...

PS : Duty officer are not implemented on Console yet.
PS2 : If the lifetime subscription wasn't so expensive (25000 zen - 250 Euro) i would have got is, but i am not ready to pay 250 Euro for a game ... it is the price for 4 games ...

Only Romulans can use Romulan boffs on the exchange. KDF can't use them.

They never have had them on PC, just ground traits. Also, Humans are always Leadership. Space traits are not random, each race has 0, 1 or 2 fixed traits that they can get. Klingons and Orions are always 0 space with 4 ground.

I have discovered this... i tried to buy an Romulan Bof at the exchange, and he sent me away

Converted to manual, this Viral matrix II was expensive ^^

I think no space trait for Klingon is a disadvantage in PVP ...
Romulan BOF have High critical chance (10% added to my Ship stats with 5 Romulan BOF)
Human BOF have great hull repair bonus
Nausicaans have Pirate trait which improve the damage (1.5%) and it appear this trait do not work according to the wiki : http://sto.gamepedia.com/Trait:_Pirate/boff

The difference between +1.5 % damage and 2% critical chance is huge ...

I do not understand why Klingons can get Romulan KDF Bridge officer /// My Romulan character at lv 10 was offered to ally with KDF or with Federation... So Romulan BOF should be of both factions Fed and KDF...

When fleet holdings are added it is possible to get Romulan boffs from the Embassy holding.

Other than that, the sharing is one-way. Romulans can go to Federation or Klingon academy and recruit duty officers, Romulans can fly low-level Federation or KDF ships. Romulans do not let Feds or KDFs go to the flotilla or command center, or fly Romulan ships.

KDF does have 2 space trait options, people just don't like them for some reason - Letheans with Efficient or Nausicaans with Pirate (which IS working on PC. Previously it was a useless trait but was fixed and is now great for extra DPS if you have nothing else... and it stacks).
Didn't realise your were a console user, sorry about that. I still suggest getting an efficient lethean (they are cheap because they are ugly) and a couple of nausicaans for their boost until something better comes along.
I do agree that each race should have had a random chance of a space modifier of some kind but Cryptic just never implemented anything like it.

Once fleets come to the console you will also have a second type of bridhe officer that gets a space trait: krenim from the tesearch lab.

I forget if the accolade reward borg from commiting suicide in the khitomer queue gets efficient or not. He is super cool though, looks like a full borg not a liberated borg. But like the potato, he is a long way out if you are level 13.

There is a silver lining to the lack of officers on the console: if you are good at getting them you can sell them for a fortune. If you have some dilithium to spare, try buying some white officers from the vendor and sell them, see how much you can get. If the console is anything like the pc orion women and nausicans will be the most valuable.
