Costume Change Bug (Xbox)?

I have encountered a new bug since the Oct6 patch on the Xbox. When I select my captain's alternate costume at the tailor and press "A" to wear it, nothing happens. I hope the Dev Team sees this and can investigate and fix this issue. Has anyone else encountered it, or found a work-around?

It's the same on PS4. Only uniforms in slot 1 can be worn. It seems to be related to the costume editor "upgrade."

They asked if the costume change thing on Xbox was a bug. It is a bug affecting both console versions, that is the answer. Not a satisfactory answer as it does not include information about what they intend to do to fix it..... also this line of inquiry already exists in another thread
