Didnt receive temporal beacon for the 23c toon.

Any1 know why this happened? My bro got a temporal beacon and received award pack after completing the temporal eps. I didnt get anything. Is it some kinda bug?

    when did you do this? cause the event is over.

    if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

    My char was created during the event at the same time as my bros. I stopped playing after reaching 25c ESD. I didnt see the transponder in my inv when I played the toon today, so I checked with my bros, they got them. My 2nd bro just started playing the 23c toon (created same time as mine) yesterday and received the transponder too.

    We did warn people in several threads here at the time that they needed to reach 25th C and get their temporal device. It sounds like you only started reading the forums after it was too late.

    Go see the Temporal Agent NPC at ESD and see if you can reclaim it - or see if you have an 'Overflow Bag' button on your inventory window and see if it's in there.

    Yes, I finished the "welcome to ESD" and talked to the agent. My 2nd bro created the 23c toon during the event same as me and my other bro. He just started to play it during the weekend and received the transponder. I got my toon to 25c ESD weeks ago but stopped after talking to the logistic npc. I went to talk to the temporal agent today but didnt reveive it.

    If my bro started playing his toon last weekend and received the transponder yesterday, logically my toon should also receive it, no?

    No. The event required that you follow all of the steps during the six-week period (which is simple enough - what, six missions and then you're at ESD in the 25th?). You missed a step. You can try appealing to customer service, but I don't know if they even can help you at this point.

    (For what it's worth, due to circumstances too circuitous to go into here, I wound up with a total of three Cryptic accounts; during the six-week period, I had time enough to make two AoY toons on my main account, and one each on the other two, and get them all into 25c and with their transponders in hand. My first, Kevin Timeline, is lvl 60 now, and just starting the Borg arc - he completed the Breen arc first, as he happened to be in the correct quadrant for that after finishing up the Cardassian arc.)​​

    You were supposed to go to the temporal agent DURING the event. Not after. If you only went today, you are far far too late. That sucks too, because the rewards are incredible.

    I did it last week with a toon i started during the event, but never passed the first mission, and i got the temporal beacon, no problem whatsoever, so, its a bug on his char or its in his overflow bag

    No it means that either he is a liar or is the beneficiary of the luckiest/greatest bug/glitch of all time. Theoretically receiving the Transponder after the event ended on August 24th would be the game "not working as intended" otherwise known as a bug.
    When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    It is possible that we have been misguided about how the Recruitment events work. It is possible that creating a character during that time flags the character to give them the Recruitment item whenever they reach the appropriate location. So it doesn't matter when the Temporal Agent Recruit reaches the 25th Century, but when the character was created. Of course, this would be something that only a dev could answer since it would be a coding issue.

    One of my in-game friends got one after the end of the event too. He created the character during the event, then finished after it was over.

    Soo.... in the interest of scientific study.... How far did you guys get before the event ended? DR all you needed was the initial tutorial mission, you got it half-way through. Here, it seems to be less simple.... Something about the characters was different when the event ended.

    Diplomacy and Exploration at Tier 3, and the always lagging Recruitment at Tier 2. All the rest at Tier 4+. All other stuff completed weeks ago. I just finished the fourth Primary Spec (Command) today. Commando was also completed weeks ago as well. Just Strategist to go.

    Cleaning up the reruns on the Future Proof and Delta Arc for the rest of the Rewards. Also just started the Iconian Arc

    That seems to be the case. I left a second AOY character that had only got as far as getting his first command on 23c ESD sitting there purposefully until after the event and ended up restarting it because it got the transponder on reaching 25c ESD.
    This actually might be a good lead. If you unlock the transponder on one character, maybe it allows you to do so on a 2nd character regardless of the event.

    Well no, because the "rebooted" version of that character started after the event didn't get the transponder. Seems to be that, unlike the Delta recruitment, characters created during the event counted as temporal agents regardless of how far you progressed with them. Which doesn't explain what happened to the OP though :P

    I dunno, maybe there's a certain number of missions you had to go through. You mentioned that your guy who got it had gotten as far as being officially given his ship at past ESD. Not sure about the OP, it's hard to figure out exactly where he was when the event ended.

    I wasn't clear enough. I meant that a second character created during the event would have this happen. Not a second character created outside of the event.
