Could it be possible for you to add life time sub or sub from do it from Steam or Zen Store

I know that consoles have the abilty to lifetime sub at least xbox in the zen store from what I read. I really want to see this being added to pc. Why because I don't have a credit card, and thus am unable to do it otherwise. Either that or add the option to buy a lifetime sub from steam. That way I could use Steam wallet and thus do it that way.

I don't see that happening, but I'd totally be on board. I can't shell out, what, $200 when it's on sale, but I will totally grind a few tens of millions of dilithium to have a horde of strangers pay it for me. I've already ground out the T6 Flagship megabundle and Temporal Agent Pack this year, and those have a higher combined cost than the LTS.

I would not care if they desided to make it 600$ if they add it to zen store it would be preferable for me. They also should add the life time sub option to stores. Like gamestop or walmart or just add a currency that acts like steam wallet to get the sub that way.
  • That would make too much sense and be too easy for people!

Well the thing with perfect world/arc that I don't like is the fact that their is no steam wallet like card, for Arc itself. They need to do this as currency for buying subscriptions/lifetime subs and not just give you zen. Like come on how is players without credit cards/paypal going to be able to get the subscription. They would get a lot more lifetime subscribers possibly by doing this.

Adding the LTS to steam would be a logical course for a company that plays nice with steam. So, of course, cryptic/PWE would never do this. Most sales on zen don't extend to steam users. I understand the whys of this but I don't agree with the business model. Unfortunately, the only way to get a LTS is from PWE/Cryptic directly. The alternative to the credit card, though, is to get a pre-paid gift card that is sponsored by a credit card company. Load the card for the one purchase and discard afterward.

I do think they need to add the option to buy it from steam, even if they have increased cost for it. This would get them more money as well since a lot of people use steam.

Why can't you use PayPal with a bank account but without a credit card? Isn't that an option online?

And zen store....they want more real money up front, not zen you got for free via dilithium.

you don't actually need a credit card if you have a debit card from your bank that would do just as well, you can also buy it with paypal as far as I know, they certainly still except paypal for zen purchases so I guess they still use it for lifetime.

as always I suggest wait for the next sale.

The lifetime on console is not exactly the same thing. I play on console also and its basically more of a bundle pack than a sub with a few things missing which is why its cheaper too. I can't imagine it being done for the same reason why ships aren't placed in the c-store. They want real life money not dilithium conversions and there is a glut of dilithium floating around too.

I would think they could implement a way to use the PWE cards you can buy at Target, etc to buy lifetime in their arc system. I know you choose the game to credit the zen and the server but maybe they could add a drop down choice in that menu for a lifetime options instead of zen credit. If you really wanted it you can spend $5.00 for a prepaid visa card too, it's really not that much money if you really want the option to get a $300 item.

    Lifetime Sub since June 2010

two things that spring to mind when I read your post, firstly you can only do dilithium conversions if someone else has paid real life money and is willing to exchange their zen for dilithium.
I think the reason they keep lifetime cash only is because they want a big influx of cash for lifetime not the nickels and dimes that comes from buying zen over a long period.
secondly paying smaller amounts over a long period for lifetime is not a good idea for players or for cryptic, what happens to your instalments if the game folds before you have met the required amount, its a risky business for you to pay in money in the hopes that one day you might reach the required amount before the game folds with no chance of getting your money back and its highly unlikely that cryptic would give you lifetime up front as they would have the problem of getting the money from you if the game ever folded.

I cant ever see the purchase of lifetime being anything other then the way it is.

So let me get this straight, you want someone else to pay for your LTS?

Are you dense? OP wants to be able to buy an LTS either from the C-Store or via Steam to use the Steam Wallet.

How you got wanting someone else to buy an LTS for the OP from the original post is beyond credulity.

Pretty much I imagine if they added the lifetime sub to steam then they would get a lot of players that do play the steam version the means of getting lifetime sub.
