I know that consoles have the abilty to lifetime sub at least xbox in the zen store from what I read. I really want to see this being added to pc. Why because I don't have a credit card, and thus am unable to do it otherwise. Either that or add the option to buy a lifetime sub from steam. That way I could use Steam wallet and thus do it that way.

I would not care if they desided to make it 600$ if they add it to zen store it would be preferable for me. They also should add the life time sub option to stores. Like gamestop or walmart or just add a currency that acts like steam wallet to get the sub that way.
Well the thing with perfect world/arc that I don't like is the fact that their is no steam wallet like card, for Arc itself. They need to do this as currency for buying subscriptions/lifetime subs and not just give you zen. Like come on how is players without credit cards/paypal going to be able to get the subscription. They would get a lot more lifetime subscribers possibly by doing this.
I do think they need to add the option to buy it from steam, even if they have increased cost for it. This would get them more money as well since a lot of people use steam.
you don't actually need a credit card if you have a debit card from your bank that would do just as well, you can also buy it with paypal as far as I know, they certainly still except paypal for zen purchases so I guess they still use it for lifetime.
as always I suggest wait for the next sale.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
I would think they could implement a way to use the PWE cards you can buy at Target, etc to buy lifetime in their arc system. I know you choose the game to credit the zen and the server but maybe they could add a drop down choice in that menu for a lifetime options instead of zen credit. If you really wanted it you can spend $5.00 for a prepaid visa card too, it's really not that much money if you really want the option to get a $300 item.
Lifetime Sub since June 2010
the zen isnt actually free since someone bought the zen in the first place
two things that spring to mind when I read your post, firstly you can only do dilithium conversions if someone else has paid real life money and is willing to exchange their zen for dilithium.
I think the reason they keep lifetime cash only is because they want a big influx of cash for lifetime not the nickels and dimes that comes from buying zen over a long period.
secondly paying smaller amounts over a long period for lifetime is not a good idea for players or for cryptic, what happens to your instalments if the game folds before you have met the required amount, its a risky business for you to pay in money in the hopes that one day you might reach the required amount before the game folds with no chance of getting your money back and its highly unlikely that cryptic would give you lifetime up front as they would have the problem of getting the money from you if the game ever folded.
I cant ever see the purchase of lifetime being anything other then the way it is.

How you got wanting someone else to buy an LTS for the OP from the original post is beyond credulity.

Pretty much I imagine if they added the lifetime sub to steam then they would get a lot of players that do play the steam version the means of getting lifetime sub.
