I have attempted to utilize hangar pets on various carrier ships that I own recently. I have noticed that all of my hangar pets, including frigates and fighters are not properly responding to commands such as recall, escort occasionally and attack. When I go to full throttle (not full impulse), they are quickly left behind and eventually despawn. At full impulse, they have no chance of catching up. When I go into combat, they are no where to be found. A few of the hangar pets that I own do visually appear to go into full impulse, but they are moving at an extremely low rate of speed. At this point, hangar pets feel worthless and not worth the resources to purchase.
It was stated in a previous patch note that the full impulse function was repaired and that all hangar pets should respond better to hangar commands. This is not the case at all. I have tried all different types of elite fighters and frigate type pets from the Elite BOP pets on the Vo'quv, the elite Calisto escorts on the Federation Jupiter carrier, the elite pets for the Annorax science dreadnought, the elite scorpion fighters and even the new elite probe pets for the Kelvin Timeline Intel dreadnought. None of them are keeping up with my ships or responding to carrier commands.

Hangar pets are still failing to properly respond to commands. In the Borg Battlefield my Epoch fighters failed to be of any use. So, still in the mission, for the past 15 minutes I have been trying to recall them. Something as simple as entering the hangar seems to be impossible. And indeed, with them being utterly incapable of keeping up at full impulse, the only 2 remaining options are crawling everywhere, or just going into battle without them.
