Dyson Rep set visual MIA.

Quick search of the forums revealed the last time this was brought up was July 1st, and it didn't get any attention. Since I'm not Dr. Frankenstein who can bring things back to life, I'm creating a new thread.

I have all 3 pieces of the Dyson Ground set, but when I crouch the cover shield doesn't show up. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know a fix? Is it even a known issue? Does anyone care? what's 2X2?

Any responses would be great,, yeaaah,, and stuff....

    I've encountered the same thing, haven't checked to see if at least the buff is showing up (haven't done any ground combat recently so it hasn't been a priority for me) but the mini cover shield visual is definitely missing, which is a pity because it's one of the more interesting visual effects in the ground combat game.

    IIRC, that effect is tied to the armor and doesn't require any other pieces of the set, which is why the Dyson armor is almost permanently part of my ground kit regardless of whatever weapons and shields I'm using for various set bonuses.

    Devs, they dont always answer forums questions, but when they do, its awesome. Glad to here a fix is coming even though im sure Chaos and I are the only 2 people on Holodeck that actually use the Dyson set, but whatever.

    AWESOME!!!!!! Im SOOOOOO GLAD..... you know what 2X2 is... LOL... Anyway, thank you very much for the response, I'm glad it's a known issue, and I'm not crazy... well ok, that last one is debatable.. but at least the Issue should be fixed soon!
    ADDITION: Is it sad that THIS is the highlight of my day?

    If only all 3 pieces of the set appeared on my accolade so I could see this visual bug. Not getting the visuals is even worse.

    It is possible the two issues are connected... I mean, ANYTHING is possible right? Maybe check the Tribble patch notes to see if its in there? I'm not sure you need to the accolade to unlock the visuals, and the costume should be in the tailor, last section under the " SETS" tab or whatever its called.. I'm sure you already know that, but hey, that's all I have to offer >:)

    There's a fix for that on Tribble as well!

    Could we get an ETA on when that next Tribble patch might be heading our way? We've all been itching for it since the last one a few weeks ago lol :)

    One of the things I enjoyed doing during the Winter Event when racing for Epohh Tags was to turn away from the starting line ... crouch ... deploy the "shield wall" ... and then turn back around again to face the starting line. It always made me feel like I was doing this ...

    ... especially since the "shield wall" would quickly collapse behind me when I "took off" down the track by "launching" myself out of a crouched position right as the barriers dropped.

    I am missing the crouching shield visual on my characters that have the full Dyson ground set. good to see we'll be getting a fix for it soon. :)
