[PS4] - Shard Unavailable bug.

Hello All,
I've searched for and haven't found this bug yet, so I'll post it here. Before I get flamed, etc, I'm not complaining, just reporting a technical difficulty, impairing game play.
As the name of the post suggests, the PS4 hangs on "connecting to shard provider, please wait...." then goes to char select with no shard's available at this time.
Is this a queuing issue, or maintenance...or some new issue since the last patch, I.e the "fix for getting booted back to the title screen..." which coincidentally is when this started happening.
I don't have the exact address for the PS4 shard, and I star'd out the first 3 hops for my protection....
