Xbox One Fluid Dynamics Diamond bug

So I made it so far into the campaign only to find what looks like a campaign halting bug where the diamond is unbeatable. It keeps drifting away from the fleet, through walls, getting stuck and its health keeps resetting making it impossible to defeat.

    I've met the same problem on PS4. But it finaly drifted to the edge of the map where i've been able to destroy it when the allies arrived. But yes it's probably not how this mission is supposed to be play.

    My brother is having the same issue on the xbox one and can't beat it been at for three hours now.
