Steam runner is availed to claim for free apparently O.o?

P.s is the 50th anniversary is still going on?

    SteamRunner is free for now exclusively for Xbox One players.

    Andorian Light Escort is free for now exclusively for PS4 players.

    Those are tied to the console launch not the 50th.

    50th giveaway is the TOS pack, available for 24 hours until 2 PM Pacific time Friday.

    No, there is only one single 50th anniversary give away that ends today: the TOS pack.

    The ships are not related to the 50th at all, they are a console launch promotion.

    I have to know as a person who got the Steam starter pack so i got the steamrunner both T1 and T5 does the Xbox version get the Resonance Cascade modulator like the T1 steamrunner from the steam starter pack used to have.
    Also what is the Andoran light escort like i never had a chance to get it since i came to STO late and would not be able to buy the pack anyway so i am curious what is it like and how does it compare to the steamrunner?

    How come the c-store description of the steamrunner says "Weapons: 4 fore, 3 aft" but the actual ship only has 2 fore and 1 aft?

    Remember that this is my greed speaking, but i would not mind if those tier 1 ships were made available for the PC as well.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    There is a Tier 1 and a Tier 5 version of the Steam Runner. The 4/3 stats suggest the Tier 5 version. It used to be that the Steamrunner was available (only) as a pack on Steam, with both the T1 and Tier 5 version. Might be an artifact of that.
    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    Makes sense. Got my hopes up. The one they gave is only slightly better then the one I had. Thanks for the reply.

    steam runner is arguably the bestest starter ship, due to its 4 Boff seats (1 additional tac slot)
    why arguably? Because the andorian escort has an additional forward weapon slot.
    In other words, you can decide by yourself what is better: a boff ability or a weapon slot.

    @baudl I think weapon slot is better, has anyone check if you get the t1 or t5 or Both?

    Definitely agree and the Resonance cascade modulator is very helpful even in the late game with 2 tac bridge officer you could get a beam and torpedo upgrade or tac team it makes a lot of possibilities.
