Why no C-store account transfer to consoles?

I honestly don't see a single reason why we shouldn't have the option of at least a permanent one way switcg.

If you take the time to look, there are several threads already that explain fully why it's not going to happen.

    Short recap...

When the consoles launch in the Fall, they will be almost a whole season behind the PC version.
Anything that you acquire between now and then, will not be available to you on a console.
Basically, the Patch Numbers will be inconsistent and will most likely crash your console game.

Also i remember (a long time ago) while playing on tribble iy was reminded not to buy stuff there cause the purchase would be lost once the server had been reset. So that made me learn that every server has a purchase history for every account and not a shared one. It made me no surpirse learning console would be separated.

If you take just a moment to look, you'll see that the Consoles launched today with everything up to Season 11, Nothing more.
Since the PC version is well beyond Season 11 at this point, just how in the hell do you expect that to work?

    and...

While I perfect understand why they don't say Ps4 = XBONE = PC and make all the accounts the same. I cannot see short of "They want more money" why they don't give people with a lifetime membership something on the console versions. The accounts are linked, so they can see that in my case my PC account IS a life'er. I don't know if this is saying "One lifetime = Lifetime on every console" but at least give the loyal players something other than the Wraith of Khan outfit for 'linking the account'

    Now

If they figured out a way to make all STO Store purchases across all 3, now THAT would make me and a lot of others more likely to spend more cash. But this would most likely mean they would have to access the same store/account database over every system, which I guess is something they aren't doing.....Then why did we link our accounts again?

It's all about money, point blank period. The PC and Console versions being out of sync is irrelevant when it comes to C-Store and LTS purchases as Players are not on the same servers as PC Players. Nothing purchased in the C-Store is required for the game to run or required for the Player to complete the game so it's not an issue of compatibility.

Wanting Players to start on even footing is also a poor excuse, but I can see it going a few ways. One they didn't have the budget, or didn't want to spend the money to allow Players to transfer their purchased content over. Or they ran out of time and simply couldn't add the functionality and have it tested in time to meet deadlines. I'd like to think that they wanted to allow it because I think it would serve to increase sales as the new Players would see the old Players with all the cool toys and want them too, but the realist in me sees it as a for-Profit decision. A way to get even more money out of the Veteran Players that have already bought everything they wanted and are not likely to buy anymore. To make them spend their hard earn money on something they've already paid for, a second time, and should have access too right away. I mean it's only data files... it's not like they're real tangible objects that will cost more physical resources to replace. Editing a files is pretty much all it would have taken. I would even accept paying a small fee for the transfer to account since they did spend the time to provide that service.

The most perfect answer one could give, totally wasted.......
The OP, and all the other PC to Console whiners don't want to know why, the question has been asked and answered ad nauseum. What they want is what they will never get. They want everyone to be all "oh, you poor person, Cryptic is being so unfair to you", ain't gonna happen.
They want Cryptic to get tired of all their whining and just go ahead and give them all the PC stuff for the console just to shut them up, ain't gonna happen.

The rest of us want them to man up, shut up, and just go play STO.....ain't gonna happen.
    LTS and loving it.
