What is the Arc Client?
Install Arc

Please remove the annoying confirmation box

It used to be possible to hold the enter key during crafting to avoid clicking this ever single time.

Now for whatever reason, they made this not work anymore.
My question is why?
Its annoying as TRIBBLE, I mean at least give us the option(checkbox) to have it not display again in the future or something.

You forgot "and ask for a refund while saying it's the game's fault".

I have been in the game for over 4 years and have 18 toons that have finished reps and at least one specialisation - but apparently I am a noob :)
I have acciently - due to trigger fingering and/or lag on occasions hit that button and wasted Dilithium. So I am in favour of keeping that.

    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982

The devs just can't win, can they?
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

It should most certainly not be removed.

At most an option could be added that sufficiently wealthy players can opt out of it, after accepting a disclaimer that they don't get to complain about any accidents.

I think the confirmation box is a great thing when it comes to stuff that requires dilithium, zen, etc.

It only take ONE mistake to be out a small fortune. Something the OP hasn't yet experienced otherwise he be praising the virtues of confirmation boxes. :P

Oh, and I thought there was a option somewhere to turn confirmation boxes on or off, but maybe I am mistaken.

The only confirmation boxes that need removed are the ones at Sol and Q'onos which pop up for Rom toons, or AoY toons. Those are annoying and serve no purpose after their first appearance.

I disagree with the OP. Confirmations before losing possibly 10,000+ dil are a good thing and should stay.

Frankly, i think if your so impatient you can't wait a matter of minutes as the OP's example or hours to finish a crafting project that you want to waste dilithium your a friggin idiot.

Friggin impatient idiots have no room to complain.

The only modal dialogue window that needs removal is the announcement that the timeline is secure.

This. Though I'd go further and say Earth orbit et al are themselves giant confirmation boxes that we could do without.

No. That confirmation box was put there some time after the R&D revamp because people would click the finish now button by accident, spending their dil when they didn't want to. It happened to me at least once or twice because I was in a bit of a hurry and not paying attention.

No, don't take that confirmation box away. OP obviously hasn't 'accidentally' lost dil in R&D.

I agree with Druk about the boxes at ESD and Qonos for Roms/AoYs. Also the 'Timeline is secure' one needs to go.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

It may be off topic by why the heck am I always being reminded that the timeline is secure? Maybe let me know if there's a problem or something bad has happened...

Fleet Admirals don't need permission to dock. Crashing through a bulkhead or window is fine :D That one can go as well.

(On topic: dialogue boxes involving Dil save people making costly mistakes)

Seems like it. Just deal with the confirmation box....cause you 'experts' and 'vets' will, at some point, ~sarcastic gasp~ make a mistake, and do something you don't want and you'll be going "oh, #$%&, of all the bleeding *TRIBBLE+&*#!" and so on. ;) And are you folks soooooo damned lazy that you don't wanna bother an extra click?

Your no different from 'noobs' folks......

    DEAL WITH IT!

The Confirmation is a good safeguard. Accidental mis-clicks can happen to anyone at anytime.

    It should not be removed.
