Suggestions for the dilithium store?

Since there is some unhappiness about the pricing of the new dilithium store uniforms: what kind of single-character unlock would you be willing to spend 2-3 million dilithium on?

Special titles? New weapon types (different colours for certain species like Andorian or Vulcan ones for example)? New pets? Bridge officers?

C-store things like respec bundles? Small craft? Promo stuff like Golden Ferengi Marauders?

I know I would spend that much dilithium if I could get a special trait and appearance for one character.

Basically you'd change your entire species without unlocking (or, developer-wise, a need to add) new playable ones. Undine, Voth, Herald, I'm pretty sure things like these would be popular enough and worth a couple of million dilithium.

What would *I* spend 2-3 million Dilithium on?

An account wide T6 Husnock ship. Doesn't need to be anything super special aside from the unique look. Nothing game breaking as far as trait or BOff seating would be needed. Since it's entirely possible the Husnock technology remained after Kevin Uxbridge killed them all, there could be a cache of Husnock ships out there waiting for new captains.

Now, if these new uniforms that were released today were account unlocks instead of single character unlocks and they all came in a pack for 2 million Dil, maybe 3 mil Dil, then I could maybe see myself saving up for them. Maybe.

As it is, the MACO uniform alone is, more or less, the equivalent of $50 worth of Zen for a single character unlock. Not worth it in my book.

I'd spend copious amounts of dilithium to unlock admiralty cards for lockbox/Lobi store ships that I own for my other toons. but the cards would have to be a permanent addition to my deck.

How about ENT weapons (starfleet and MACO), and TWOK pulse phasers (both arrays and pistols)

As I stated in the other thread, I did the maths to figure out the costs. This is going off current Dilithium Exchange pricing, with is at 404 per Zen right now.

* At the cost of a million Dilithium, that is 2,475 Zen, essentially the price of a Tier-5 ship.
* Two million Dilithium is 4,950 Zen, essentially the price of a Tier-5 bundle pack, such as Odyssey or Vesta.

So, for a million Dilithium, maybe we could claim a T5 Lockbox/Lobi ship on other characters, assuming one character already has said ship.

For two million, we could claim a 3-pack set of T5 Lockbox/Lobi ships on other any other characters. For the sake of example, let's imagine One of your characters has the full Temporal Set, which is Wells/Korath, Mobius/Krenn, and Paradox (Paradox is T6, but that is not my point.). For two million Dilithium, you could buy that set for another character. Again, that is assuming one character already has said set.

MACO/KHG/CC/etc.

ALL of the past event ships, death to exclusivity, and bring a meaningful sink to the game at last in one-fell swoop! I don't care how expensive, just do it, would be the wisest thing. Oh and things like the Zeffy shotgun too.

You live on your ship. The reoccurring theme throughout Star Trek is you consider the ship to be your home. That said, a functional Captain's Quarters would help the situation greatly.

When on mission, the crew lives on the ship. But most of them probably have homes as well. Somwhere they go when the mission is over and they wait for their next assignment. When the ship spends months in drydock being repaired or refit. Somewhere their families live, if your ship isn't the Enterprise-D.

A Fleet Admiral should probably have at least an office in the faction headquarters.

And then there's the Andorian ski lodges and such.

The thing is, while an upgradeable ship interior/captain's quarters would be a logical place to start with player housing, that would require either an enormous amount of work creating options for all the bazillion different interior maps in the game, or forcing players to abandon their unique interiors for more generic ones. Thus, other housing options are better.

The stuff I'd maybe throw lots of dil at would be old exclusives and nothing else currently in the game.

Those costumes seem insanely expensive with the current high exchange rate, if that exchange rate drops the insanity of the price increases.

Wow there was a disscusion ingame chat about possible ships that people would pay 2+ mil dil for and the Idea of a T5-U or T6 Engie based Husnock ship was the first one that came up,

Not for a single character. I would spend 2 million dilithium for an account-wide unlock. However, I would spend 2 million dil for a single character if it were a T5 or T6 starship.

Also, I had an idea. Put the Kobali Uniform in the dilithium store. But please don't make it so dang expensive. It was only available for a limited time from the episode Dust to Dust and has never made a return. Months ago someone on the forums asked about it and a dev said he would ask about it, but nothing has happened yet.

I'd be willing to blow some dilithium on single character abilities to add hybrid boff seating (in a limited way) to older ships, like the T5Us, or those without a specialized boff seat at higher tiers.
Something like 2mil to change a Lt seat to a hybrid seat, 3mil for a Lt. Cmdr, 4mil for Cmdr.

That much Dilithium? Make the uniforms account unlock. 5+mil dil for single char lockbox ships. But to be fair previous lock boxes only not the current one. So you want a cardi or ferengi ship. Dil exchange. Those would be worth saving up like that. Keep the lobi ships in the lobi store so you have to choose. But consumables should cost 500 per unit not a few thousand for one. That way a big spender will buy a stack.

How about making it cost Gobs of Dilithium to RE-BOX a Lockbox ship (making it Account Bound) and another Huge Mound of Dilithium to UN-box it on a different one of your Alts...?

I would imagine folks would gladly pay the equivalent of $50 dollars plus to be able to do that.
