While on the planet, K'Valk says you can negotiate with the guard at alpha console.
When you walk you have 2 convo options: "out of my way or cancel" neither one works.
Beta console is the same.
Read some guides and they claim you have another convo option...but they don't appear in the mission. Is there some trick to this?

Something pretty much everyone playing that level on the character for the first time will not have.
Kind of a bummer how we cannot just bribe them with some bloodwine we "found"
