My actual 1st one was a "caucasian" male science since my other sci captains are female. It did not end... or should I say begin well... When attempting to turn in the 1st mission the captain told me to man the helm to complete the mission and advance the story. Great... only there was no option to interact with the helm station.
Last night I checked on him and... nope still stuck on the bridge with nothing to do. Delete.
I then created an "Afro-American" female engineer since all my other engineers were male and I do not recall seeing many "Afro-American" Vulcan captains running around. Of course, there's Tuvok, but he is an NPC.
Vulcan, because I had some backstory ready for a Vulcan character.
Never done a Tellarite... or, strictly speaking, a human (Liberated Borg is a bit different), so might try those with my remaining slots. Or not; I have too many alts already.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
I made a Vulcan, in case the Nerve Pinch trait would turn out to be useful. I would have liked to have had other options; this event's grind is an awfully long one to be stuck with such narrow choices.
Female Andorian science. Strangely enough when I made my character the gender interface was messed up and would not let me create a males of any species.
vulcan that i am roll playing as a starfleet earth raised orphan romulan lol
sorry but romulans and klingons are not permitted in AoY , even role playing one will result in your bacon being seized and your free bacon card taken from you.
as per the topic human because not much a selection right?

The height setting for Tellarites is bizarrely tall for people who are supposed to be generally shorter than humans.

oh, nm. . . wrong game. . .
Charmander best starter ever!
At least, that's supposed to be the idea behind that bald human lady.
You devs made me create a human in a MMO I play. I'm humiliated and devastated now, you made me break my one rule.

My forum single-issue of rage: Make the Proton Experimental Weapon go for subsystem targetting!
Dunno why you did it? There were 3 Alien options available. You must have wanted to break your one rule.
I also don't pick dwarves or elves. :P
Guess that's another person you wasted your resources on, Cryptic. Gonna sit this whole thing out and laugh at bad business decisions. FANTASTIC JOB!

My character Tsin'xing
Already had an andorian and two humans. Tellarites are just ugly and I like pretty toons.
I see what you did there....
Well done
Ready to mix it up with some sci magic
Based on the reception of this expansion so far, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that AoY is not one of those.
