Ship auto-turning towards target on interact/hit

Since the expansion, my charcter and ship are behaving strangely.

Anytime I interact with an object such as clicking Scan on a satellite, my Ship will auto turn towards the object, if I am in Crystalline Catastrophe on my beat boat with my sides towards the enemy, when it does the large wave attack and it hits me, my ship will instantly turn 90 degrees and face the target, it didn't do this before the expansion and it is trully infuriating. Same problem with ground combat, If i interact with a firendly npc my character will turn towards it for no apparent reason.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem or is it a game bug ?

    If this is with a new character, you have to update your camera settings. I use "Chase" which is always behind the toon. It sounds like you are using "Follow Target", just update your camera settings and all should be fine.

    Thanks for the suggestion, tried changing camera options but made no difference, its not the camera which is moving but my actual ship is physically moving and it happens on all 11 of my characters.

    I'm seeing this too along with occasional random wobble in sector space.
