I don't think we need a full-on expansion like delta rising, but just a slow rolling developement of sectors containing afew systems in them. Could use this as a method of releasing an testing how people feel about some new content types thru such sectors. I have always prefered the idea of rolling out content over the course of time giving the players more to do over the course of that time, over just releasing a huge chunk of content at one time that is chewed thru by the players in short order. Not saying don't do a expansion just don't do them in huge chucks like delta, but maybe more like two smaller expansion chucks that are separated by smaller sector based expansions. This could give the players a feeling of us being actual exploration, and also explorers if we see the sectors expand over the course of the year/s. Right now we get one expansion with new missions over the year that take pace on worlds in that expansion's sector space they released, but if you did this in a more staggered fashion it could give something of a feel we are missing as well as more time for the devs to develop the content more.
Delta Rising was a good expansion. Good story and action. There is still lot to explore there. And to see how they are doing after the Vaadwuar assaults.
I would like to go back there for new content.

I'd rather see the Alpha and Beta quadrants filled out a bit, even when there's plenty of stuff to do it still feels thin. I know there are more stories/planets/races to these areas, AoY might be addressing some of that. Now that we've had a rom centered exp,a fed centered exp; perhaps we'll see a filling out of klingon space.
The “Delta Rising” release saw to it that every tiny bit in the entier world that can be attached to the word Delta is best forgotten. In movies, in the gaming industry, at home, everywhere. It even managed to make me turn my back on Star Trek Voyager. They were in the Delta quadrant after all making it the worst of all Star Trek shows and that 20 years after it was filmed.

i agree with this entirely, however it'l never happen unless they can make Zen purchases mandatory for it.
I wanna see New Talax. I don't think I want an entire expansion around it, though. I think the Delta Quadrant content we have does a fairly good job of covering all the more memorable species/locales from Voyager.
I want to see a Gamma Quadrant expansion, next. Preferably one with a new playable faction (and one that's actually as much of a faction as the Romulans).

Yes i totaly agree, but if there will be a exploration module, with alpha, beta and delta quadrant there will be lot of opportunites, as Voyager as one ship mapped that area, what now when whole starfleet is out there can map ;P
I coud go for expansion/exploration packs that add content to several sectors, and quads giving you more systems to patrol an explore. While also giving you several new stories that might actually start in the new expanded portion of the areas, and then moves back into the original parts giving a sense of exploration. Yet most of all it could be done in the interim periods between featured missions, or expansions to give players things to do as well as pad out abit of time to not have to rush content too.

I don't think gamma will ever come, as after conclusion of Dominion war, peace treaty banned any colonization or travel into each other teritories without permission of government, so i don't think Dominion would allow federation, klingon, romulan and perhaps cardassian officers to travel in their space, and i doubt that there would be need for patrols, as Dominion military alone is enough strong to start second war in which they can even won :P unless that will be about clash of HurQ and Dominion, so Alpha and beta powers will interfere to aid Dominion to repay a help in iconian wa

Tho story depends on imaginations, i can even imagine that Cryptic could use foundry of other people if they don't want to introduce gamma, but they should make at least a rules and then choice that ones which best fit, tho i think that will not happen, tho i didn't expeceted a battle at Procyon V at this point, so i don't know what really i can expect further in next expansions. ))))
There's a new TV show coming out. I am of the opinion that future expansion/development/storytelling will seek to tap into the new TV show. It's a CBS show. It's Star Trek. The potential to be current, relevant AND leverage the true value of the licensing agreement I feel far outweighs the potential to be had in the Delta Quadrant. UNLESS the TV show does a season in the Delta Quadrant. Then heck yeah!
Who thinks that we should get expansion of Delta Quadrant and perhaps some station like Starbase Sierra 39, as for now Delta Quadrant is just a large patrol area and Kobali as zone without exchange.
So maybe some starbase build by alliance something like in Orbit of New Talax or maybe in orbit of Turei homeworld or maybe Talax colony site as New Romulus but wihtout D'tan and with Nelix.

Takedown was the only mission in the arc that wasn't a total bore.
