in Graphical and Sound Issues
Here are my spec as per Piriform's Speccy.

Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU AMD FX-8320 Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard MSI 990FXA GAMING (MS-7893) (CPU 1)
Graphics SAMSUNG (1920x1080@59Hz)
8192MB AMD Radeon R9 390X Series (MSI)

Now.. These settings work for me.
STO Game Client - Click Options - Scroll down to Command line. Add this... -d3d11enable 0

IN GAME OPTIONS.
Display Tab
D3D 9ex
Full screen
Refresh Rate - 60
Brightness - 110
Aspect - Auto
V-sync - on
Res scale - 1.00
Anti alias - Msaa 2x

Graphics Tab
Both Sliders Maxed at High setting.

Advanced Tab
Limit CPU Usage - on
Multi-core Rendering - on
Bloom Intensity - 100%
World & Character Texture - 75%
Limit Framerate - 60
Vid Mem Limt - Auto

Everything else - OFF

Hope this helps some of you experiencing game crashes using Crimson Drivers.

    BTW.. Im using Crimson Drivers Version 15.12 Driver package version 15.30.1025.... And I played for 6 hours straight and not a single glitch or crash.... So far , so good..

    Well..... That didn't last long.. FRAK IT.. I put my R9 270X back in... AND GUESS WHAT , CRAPTIC!!!! It runs perfect again..

    AND.... Thats right. You guessed it.. Now the game is TRIBBLE up on my R9 270X..

    lol yea this problem has been going on for months. No word has been given, just swept under the rug. Running dx9 on my 390, cause it's the only way. :(

    R9 280 here running completely fine with DX 11 on 16.5.2 drivers...give those a shot, or it might be in the V-Sync; think I heard that causes issues sometimes *shrug*

    Game hasn't worked for me since they came out with the Crimson drivers.

    I tried your fix. It won't start now, and says Dx9 will not be supported come March 1st and tries to autoconfig back to Dx11. ugh......

    I run an AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 graphics n my Toshiba Satellite laptop, and lately It's been crashing every other time since late November. Would this fix work with my setup?
