Will there be a Delta Quadrant expansion?

Who thinks that we should get expansion of Delta Quadrant and perhaps some station like Starbase Sierra 39, as for now Delta Quadrant is just a large patrol area and Kobali as zone without exchange.

So maybe some starbase build by alliance something like in Orbit of New Talax or maybe in orbit of Turei homeworld or maybe Talax colony site as New Romulus but wihtout D'tan and with Nelix.

I would also like to hear yours suggestions.

    It would be interesting, but highly unlikely to ever see the light of day.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    There's a slight chance that They may some day, add to that existing quadrant though.

    More likely, there will be some kind of Gamma Expansion, probably next year along with what ever Trek-2017 give us.

    For the time being, the collective has been dealt with. When they return, Cryptic will likely use existing star systems for any new missions, same if they decide to add a Cooperative faction.

    I don't know - what Delta Quadrant races have been underserved and could warrant a new region? AFAIK, the region there covers the entire stretch that Voyager flew through.

    I think I'd focus on the Gamma Quadrant first. As far as we know, the Wormhole did not end in the middle of Dominion Space, just close enough to its borders so we eventually catch their attention (and vice versa). But it might suggest that there is a completely unexplored region in the other direction, which could serve as the springboard for a potential exploration expansion.

    Things I would like to see done to the delta 'quadrant' are:-

    1) Turn it from a annoying 6x1 strip into a 6x6 box, make it feel huge and explorable. Put the ocampian homeworld in the far bottom right corner, then it might feel like 'wow, they had to fly all that way..'
    Can always fill in some of those new blocks with voth and borg worlds, give us simple combat / scouting missions for them, would both give something new to do (gotta try em all! :) ) and an alternative way to get omega and dyson marks.

    2) Add delta quadrant specific Duty-Officer missions, it feels off to be colony site surveying beta and alpha quadrant area's while sitting in the delta quadrant, give us some reason to go to the delta quadrant other then for missions, patrols, kobali ground or episode arcs.

    This would not be nor need an expansion as they would be finishing the area off, because to me it looks like they ran out of time and had to dump everything into that horrible line.

    No unless it's a Borg Cooperative faction expansion. Otherwise, the next expansion I want is very much a Cardassian faction.

    Davey must think im you, somewhere along the line he got the impression i asked for a borg or cardy faction.

    I have never asked for either, i have my Rommy's and my Klingons, the feds play 3rd fiddle.

    I'm sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but the Alpha and Beta Quadrants waste a ton of space; there's no reason for the Delta Quadrant (or, for that matter, any hypothetical Gamma Quadrant addition) to do the same. It's kinda nice for immersion and all that there's some actual space between key worlds, but you could fit all the 'real' content (not one-off patrols or Foundry doors) into a much smaller space. The Delta Quadrant being represented by a mere six blocks is just representative of the fact that the devs aren't bothering to develop content that few players will ever see, and even fewer will ever see more than once. If this more focused development means I get better content to play, and miss out on effectively empty space I'll quietly, mildly resent having to travel with aimless patrols* scatter throughout, then that's what I'd rather see.

    *Got plenty of those in the Delta Quadrant as it is.

    There isnt even a friggin' Gamma Quadrant on the map anymore! They took that transwarp hub for the borg episode arc that used to be the Gamma quadrant and moved all of that to the upper right corner of the Alpha quadrant. And took out the two sector blocks there was of the Gamma quadrant when "the walls fell".

    The game essentially has three quadrants, if they do anymore expanding they need to add that first. It drives me nuts.

    They already had a Delta quadrant expansion and we all loved it and moved on.

    There will be a new TV series out before the next "Expansion". If you think that STO is going to do anything other than chase after that as hard as it can you are fantasizing.

    But that even re-enforces my point now. There was NEVER a gamma quadrant, why redesign a good quadrant when another needs to be build.
    IIRC, DS9 came before Voyager.
