T6 Scimtar question

I'm looking at a T6 Scimitar on the Zen store. Thought I saw one in a bundle the other day and can't find it now. There is a T6 Scimitar bundle but the ships included are the Shamshir, Khopesh, and Flambard. No Scimitar. I'm confused. Can anyone please direct me to the name of the bundle on the Z store where I can actually get a Scimitar? Thanks

    There is no T6 Scim in the C-Store.

    What you are looking for at the T6 flagships, and you can find them in the Cryptic Store, either under Bundles, or ships, and then selecting T6...

    It helps if you are on a romulan character, as the other factional ships will be greyed out.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    well there is a T6 ship that u can have look like the scimi..... so basicly it is the T6 scimi ;)

    There are two sets of "Scimitars" in the C-Store now. The one you found was the newer "Flagship" T6 set, while the other would include the Tulwar, Scimitar, and Falchion. If memory serves I think the old bundle is called something like the "Dreadnaught Warbird bundle." Remember though, those are the T5s so you may also need to buy an upgrade token. On the othe rhand, the T6s can use the T5 costumes if you own both, but that might be more than you really wanted to pay. Finally, as an extra FYI, you can also use the old T5 console set on the T6s along with their own set... though I would not recommend using all six at once. o:)

    Edit: Darn, ninja'd again. One of these days I'm gonna learn to type faster. :) Still, as an extra note, I thought I might add that the T6 equivalent of the Scimitar is the Khopesh in terms of role and stats.

    I already have the T5U bundle. I do recall now it was a Flagship bundle so I will go in search of it. I like the stats on the Shamshir but I love the Advanced Romuolan Drones which I'm told can only be slotted on a Scimitar.

    All of the T6 versions (Khopesh, Shamshir, Flambard) are "scimitars." They just have different names.

    I see. Thank you. I was told formerly that the Shamshir would not slot the Advanced Romulan Drones. Is that the case?

    No, the Drones will work with the Shamshir as well as any other "Scimitar" variant. For example, my main Rom flys a T6 Khopesh and has the advanced drones equipped as we speak. And before the T6 versions came out he had them on a T5 Falchion. Essentially, drone ships are exclusive to the "Dreadnought Warbird" line of vessels as a whole which include all the above mentioned ships in this thread. In an off-hand way, many people just call them collectively "Scimitars" since that was the name from the movies, but in-game the Scimitar is just the tactical variant of the T5 set. It also has the most "movie-accurate" hull parts and hull material. Hope that helps. :)

    The T6 are Romulan Republic built Scimitars; that's why they look so different from the original one.

    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.
