Anyone else crashing on Risa a lot?

Never had issues with regular crashing before in-game or on Risa but i seem to be crashing multiple times an hour this summer event. Often before i can get my lollypop favors for dancing, scavanging, etc. There's no specific trigger. I can be surfing, flying, emoting, dancing, general stuff. I have a high powered PC at max, really more than needed for the game. Tried verifying files to no avail. Might just be me having a bad summer.

    Not crashing, but maps are loading slowly and there often is a noticeable delay.
    Check if you have "on demand patching" in the launcher disabled. If it was active then disabling it will get you a sizable patch, but after that things should be back to the point where crashes do not occur.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Yes. It crashed three times in a row now. Every time in the loading screen. It goes up to 95,something % and then it crashes.

    I tried on densnd patching off and afraid it didnt help, thanks for the suggestion, questerius. Naharikajal, i am crashing while playing on Risa.

    I've actually got 2 characters stuck in limbo from trying to beam down to Risa only to have the game crash during the load screen at around the 90% mark every time I try to log in on either of them. At this point, I'm hesitant to try any other characters until this is resolved.

    Hm, for me the game just stops responding for 1-2 minutes (blue spinning circle) and then loading Risa finishes.
    Which OS are you using? (Windows 7 here)

    Windows 8.1. I've noticed a couple of times where there will be a screen flash/pop at around 40-45% then the counter jumps to approximately 90% where there's another pop then the blue circle you mentioned. I've waited for a couple of minutes for something to respond but nothing. Usually, I end up getting a Windows message saying that the game client isn't responding and end up just closing the game window.

    I logged on earlier this morning, and I was able to finally get both of my troubled characters to Risa and back without any problems. I'm suspecting that the cause may have been that the traffic was so high there yesterday/this weekend that the Risa servers just aren't able to handle it.

    So I did a system restore and dialled my PC back a couple weeks and so far, in 2 days, no crashing.

    I too am crashing out on Risa. About every 2 to 3 hours. Cryptic I have an error log file for you 44680609.
