You know the one, keep at least 15 friendlies from destruction, but no matter how good your team, FAIL. Post AYE! if you agree and this phase should be altogether removed or toned down a bit.
Well the jumping to the different phases of the mission has been made badly. One jumps 10 seconds before everyone else and Vaadwaur ships are attacking the Benthans before the whole team gets to the mission.
But the bigger problem is that people tend to go after the enemy ships not looking after the Benthans. You protect one of the groups, five groups five players. You can heal the Benthan ships. After the countdown goes to zero you should be with your Benthan group again. Healing and getting aggro for them.
Everyone of the team has to do their part for once in that part.
Galavant!

That phase would be the Benthans. And they are really not that hard if your team spreads out. There are basically 5 lanes with benthan ships to save and if each player takes one lane, you should be fine. Unfortunately most pugs tend to cluster together. Maybe some arrows/borders for each lane could help with that similar to the ones they added to the Breach.
They just need to make normal and adv versions of the queue and problem solved, well, sort of. That faze really is annoying.
Korfez really is more like advanced/elite light and by far the easiest of all the elite space queues. I don't think this game really needs more versions of the same queues to spread out the player base even more.

The Benthan Wave is pretty difficult. Only time I was in a successful Benthan Wave I was actually in my Scryer trying to do Crowd Control. Also Aceton Assimilators seemed to help.
It can't be beat. No win scenario. I've pugged Korfez probably 200 times, never seen it pass, even with teams crushing every ship in sight. Now I just leave the match when it comes up. It's total BS. Anyone who says it can be beat post a video to prove it because I don't believe it. It's bugged.
There are five lanes, it would be helpful if the devs added the green lane ovals from GGN/A/E to let pugs know where they should concentrate. The problem most teams have is people just going rogue and trying to kill everything on the map instead of chilling by the benthans and killings whatever comes within range. Try to get the other people to pick a lane (e.g. far left, left, mid, etc..) and stick by the Benthans they are there to protect. Once people do that, it is seriously the easiest space elite queue.
The Benthan is tricky when it pops up but far from impossible
Turn on Threat control/Attract fire you want the Vaadwaur shooting at you not the Benthans.
Stay near your group of friendlies, do not get bogged down in dogfighting.
Crowd Control if you can to keep them occupied.
The last time I ran it was a PUG with one friend. He tanks and I run Sci/torps, we only lost one or two ships which is the best I've seen just wish I'd recorded it.

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
