Liked the mission on the whole.

Cutscenes are missing the action. Need to be completed.

Once the mission was over and I was out in Sector space the entire "Yesterday's War" tab is now gone with all of the missions options as well. SO I can't rerun the mission. I have only one run through it.

The nakuhl guards looked weird with the black stripes running down the face from the eyes. Eyes looked more like bug eyes too.

Don't understand the whole scarring of Daniel's, especially since the mission reward Daniels doesn't have the scarring.

Someone (Romulan or Na'kuhl) threw a grenade the knocked the nearby trees flat on the ground. Then they got up a few moments later. I'm assuming that isn't just supposed to be a property of the alien trees.

Since I'm assuming all the problems with Galorndon Core are supposed to be caused by this mission, Daniels confirming that ewe've ended up losing a time loop would be useful. Alternatively, his saying we changed history and now Galorndon Core is a wasteland (making Geordis' crash part of this later timeline), would be the thing to do.

As an alternative, if I may suggest something: We're in the same building as the device we have to aquire, why not have us bust through a door to get to it. The Romulans will still attempt to defend it, as they do in the mission, but we'd stand a much better chance that way then running through the streets like a madman - and breaking the immersion and whole flow of things by respawning so much it's hilarious because we're getting straight up massacred.

I'd go with that! Quite a sensible suggestion too. I got quite soundly massacred trying to go around the building. Let's go through the wall!

I had this same thing happen, I was at 100% when the cut-screen went on and kept hearing "your ship is under attack, use evasive maneuvers" or something along those lines, after the cut screen was finished, my ship was down to 40% I am in a carrier so i have a huge amount of hull, so i can see that this part of the cut-screen will cripple or destroy anyone with glass like ships (escorts)

Tribble has been updated to: ST.64.20160526a.3.

*Only Gold and Lifetime Account players can access Tribble to view the new Agents of Yesterday content*

    New Features:

New Episode: The Core of the Matter

Travel to the mysterious Romulan research facility of the Galorndon Core before it was turned into an unstable planet plagued by severe electromagnetic storms.
The episode can be found in the Yesterday’s War journal tab.
This episode is for level 19 Captains.
This episode can be played by all players on each faction.
Complete the hand-off mission “The Once and Future Agent” prior to beginning this episode.
At this time, this episode can only be played once.
In the near future, this can be replayed like other episodes.

For more details, visit the Core of the Matter blog at: http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/9994293-star-trek-online:-galorndon-core

    General:

Resolved an issue that caused the Type F Shuttle to cost 1 EC for TOS Captains.
Now it costs 1 Shuttle Token.
Added new TOS themed icons throughout the TOS faction.
TOS captains now have TOS style beam outs and ins.
Resolved an issue where Uncommon/Green and VeryRare/Purple Specialization Kit Modules were unlocking on the store, and available for use, one point before they should have been.
Corrected the name of the 6th anniversary party popper to "Explosive Party Popper."
Some ground abilities that spawn hazard areas will no longer apply Damage-Over-Time effects that linger on targets after they leave the hazard area.
To compensate for this, the hazards themselves have had their lifespans increased. This affects the following abilities:
    Plasma Grenade
    Cryo Grenade
    Exothermic Induction Field
Updated the registry numbers on TOS ships so that they have the appropriate spacing.
Now player ships will have widely-spaced numbers like the original Enterprise.
Updated the nacelle dome spin on TOS ships so that the spin on each dome is spinning to the "outside" of the ship, per canon.
Resolved a subtle seam in the model of top of the Pioneer's nacelle struts.
Removed the Seven of Nine hands from Female TOS characters.
The Space Trait "Secret Command Codes" no longer activates when you cloak or leave cloak.

    Content:

    The Taurean Affair:
Dislodging Klingons: Resolved the issue where the targets in the shooting range would quickly pop up then disappear.
Dislodging Klingons: Added a waypoint for science objective "Bring the Sensors Back Online".
Bull by the Horns: Resolved an issue with the waypoint being incorrect during "Talk to Ensign Mears" objective.
Bull by the Horns: Moved the respawn point to a safer location for the Defeat Klingon Assault squad objective.
Search and Rescue: Resolved an issue where exiting the client during objective "Drive off the Taurean" caused Taurean to disappear when reclogging blocking progression.
Bull by the Horns: Resolved an issue where Flores, Okamura, Skial reset during Taurus II missions.
    Shadow of Cestus:
At the end of act 2, scientists now run over to the side of the shuttle and then disappear, instead of running off to another point and then beaming out.
Changed animation for placing the bamboo pipe bombs, so it no longer looks like punching a code into a keypad.
Map now displays the correct name of the map.
    Return to Babel:
Being on Deck 5 now places a TOS uniform on the player.
    Improvements made to the cutscenes.
Temporal Front: Resolved an issue where the USS Pastak followed the player’s ship a little too closely.
Removed duplicate vendor on Bajor: Hathon.
Resolved an issue with the Federation Siege Breaker accolade (KDF) to correctly track the defeat of the U.S.S. Marlowe.
Welcome to Earth Spacedock cannot be replayed by TOS characters.

    Known Issues:

The TOS Captains and missions are all a work in progress.
Players that have already claimed the Constitution Class Starship will not see the updated art.
Go into the ship tailor with the ship and alter the costume to make all updates appear.

Was hoping the envoy would be Pike after playing the Caleb IV mission, looks like its a temporal agent of some description, either they are trying to keep it a surprise or they aren't and its that Krenim tosspot. I only watched Entertpise to that P'Jem episode and then I got bored so the temporal scarring was a surprise to me, thought Envoy might be Daniels, but if its known he was scarred on Enterprise it probably won't be. I did notice Scotty picking something up off the floor after beam out in the mission "Return to Babel", but that will probably be linked to something different.

Bug wise everything seemed to work, only the stuff that obviously haven't been sorted yet like the end bit when the doomsday machine blew up.

Rom-Fed, said to go to First City, did not highlight in Flotilla Kali's position.

Temporal Observatory - I was halfway in the floor, so was Daniels.

Beaming out of Flotilla on Tribble put me at Sol System drop-point - for actual level 20s, that's a loooong haul to the Galorndon Core.

I like the time portal for entering, and the old-school warbirds look good. Would like a line for later Romulan operatives about hoping Tal Shiar infilitration goes better than last time.

Uniform and maps look great (no ridges? :) ) Love the old-school sigil spam.

Beam-out effects did not happen during 'Scarman' cutscene.

Doomsday not showing firing effects and 'prop' ships not destroying yet. No change to the planet at the end.

And, minor, but Daniels contact doesn't show effects of mission. :)
Fate - protects fools, small children, and ships named Enterprise Will Riker

Overall, the mission was good. Generally more polished than the others, however it was a touch shorter than most missions.
    Some issues:
    1) Beamdown image has most characters using the TOS animation, but one was still TNG.
    2) Some of the background comments by the soldiers standing in the forecourt include "Aefvadh" - not sure if this is meant to be a Romulan word, or if someone has just hit their keyboard in the speech section.
    3) The combat in the street would be a serious challenge for anyone who wasnt properly equipped, particularly if they had only the default equipment. I had just re-skilled my away team and had two engineers with three turrets between them plus shield gens and mines, plus (common) Tier 5 personal shields and auto rifles - the combat went rather well for me overall, but seriously if I hadnt just kitted out my away team I think they would have genuinely struggled.
    4) More items are dropping - specifically armour and shields - that have strange icons. Eg, armours tend to have a pink icon and I've just picked up a common Tier 6 shield with a green background and "Primary" in strange white font as the image. Presumably these will be updated soon?
    5) The cutscenes need more work to show and explain what is going on. Also, in the battle scenes, it needs to be explained that the outside of the doomsday device is impenetrable to normal weapons; whilst we've all played the Doomsday Device, a new player having just started a TOS character may not be familiar with it. A good opportunity for this dialogue might be on the way in when we scan the device (ie, Nakuhl telling us to get stuffed, Daniels et al pies up and explains the device from historical record).
    6) The battle continued whilst the 'end cutscene' was occuring and dropped my (Tier 3) ship almost to death - this needs to be fixed. Also, the battle might be a bit tough for people who havent upgraded their ship yet (I had bought my Heavy Cruiser with Dil as the Free Starship token didnt pop - presumably through normal progression you'd have a Tier 3 ship, but I think the key is that the Nakuhl ships fire their cones of death...

Nevertheless, I liked the look of the mission. The ground map was actually quite pretty - it could have easily been a terraced office area on Earth!

Took my Hargh'peng torpedo launcher along, but it did nothing to the planet killer. Understandable, since there's a scripted outcome. However, for both Fed and Romulan characters, this mission is set after the missions in which they receive their hargh'pengs. That's a weakness in the story. Many players will still have their hargh'pengs, and will try using them. The lead-in to this mission needs to have our characters asking Daniels about using those torpedoes, and being given some techno-babel reason why they won't work.

Also, I was able to reduce the lead Na'Kuhl ship to 0% health long before I attempted to take over the planet killer. Of course it didn't die, but just kept shooting at me while I held it at 0%. That's a bit immersion breaking.

I just played the mission again, this time with a lvl 60 toon, Mk 14 purples everywhere minimum.

This time the trip around the building was a Massacre, for the Romulans. No deaths and those pointy eared [REDACTED] died in droves.

I also had a Har'pengh torpedo on my ship, I noticed in the transmissions we downloaded that the Nah'kull modified the Doomsday Machine. When Daniels told me to kill that thing he mentioned that the Doomsday Machine had been modified so that Har'pengh Torpedeos would be ineffective. So that sorts that out.

I had the problem with not being able to kill the lead Nah'kull ship the first time I played the mission so I ignored it and just killed Romulans til the Doomsday Machine went psycho. The Problem with not being invulnerable during cut scenes came up with me too. Luckily I survived. My squishy Science Pilot Escort seems pretty tough.

Not sure if there might be a level requirement, but KDF players can get Harghs from doffing.
