That I know he was heavily scarred but thaT fella who was talking to Kor near the end of the mission looked more human than the Na'khul, in fact he reminded me a little of Pike in the TOS episodes The Menagerie I & II.
Okay - on fight, camera changed to the wall I'd used as cover earlier, but my char wasn't there, so couldn't follow what happened exactly. Tractor beam in cutscene in space before boarding was misaligned.

As far as the new ships go, I'm just looking forward to the Perseus/Theseus at tier 3, I liked the Akira class ships when I was looking at the front, top or sides, but, half an hour of looking at it's TRIBBLE was too much! You really need a ship that's pretty from behind. You're going to be spending around 6 hours looking at its rear while leveling so, I, for one, welcome our new ship overlords.
Anything that saves me from looking up the Akira's quoit is a good thing!
I have a couple of questions. First. Since some of the ships we are using and getting in the Temporal Agents packs are TOS era, Will we be allowed to use four digit registries even when we get into the Normal part of the game, or will this be changed to the 99999 like all other ships? I was very excited when i named my Pioneer Class in the tutorial and found out that it took a four digit registry like TOS era ships. Second, Do the ships level with your Temporal agent, or do you have to scale ships just like in the regular game Universe? Would be nice to have the Original Constitution Class finally level as you do, By just upgrading shields, deflector, Inpulse engines, and consoles. One more thing, not quite off topic, Any chance we might see some Variant, Of the Hermes Class Scout, or the Saladin Class Destroyer in game? The design was quite simple, but very effective. It was basically a Saucer with a dorsal, or neck assembly with one Warp Nacelle. Played through all the missions, and enjoyed them all. I did notice some bugs in the Caleb IV mission. Destroying the Klingon ships for example, when we were supposed to Disable them. The battle between your toon and the Klingon Commander, seemed a bit off. He attacks you through a partition, and kicks you across the room, when you get up, the cut scenes dont line up. Also the Bussard animation on the Pioneer needs to be corrected. All TOS era ships have Inboard spinning animation, Like the Constitution Class already ingame. The Pioneer spins clockwise on both engines. Starboard should spin Clockwise, and Port should spin Counter Clockwise. I cant wait for this to get released so i can play with the new ships. All of them look epic.
2) Don't have to buy new the ships, but if you do, they don't scale up with your toon. There are going to be new Free TOS ships for the lower levels, but we don't know exactly how many yet or what they are.
3) As far as the Connie goes, we May or May Not be getting a higher version (T-5/6) at some point, according to Gecko's last interview with Priority One Podcast.
(I'm of the opinion that we WILL be getting one)
4)The Franz Joseph designed ships are apparently Off-Limits according to what TacoFang has told us. CBS said don 't use them.

16) I really dont like how Admiral Quinn's first words are 'here, go get a ship'. It is really under-done and feels like an empty conclusion after such a heroic act. Remember, your character just died for the Federation. He should say something like:
Quinn to Character: "I have always wanted to meet a Hero of the Federation such as yourself. History records the actions of you and your crew as upholding the finest values of Starfleet; values that I hold dear and have sought to uphold myself over the years. It is an honour to meet you.
I understand that you've been given a crash course in history over the last x hundred years - so as you know we have entered another dark time where the threats to the Federation are mounting. We need natural leaders - heroes - like you out there in command of starships.
I have recommended your for a command position on a ship of the line... [existing text]. One of my Officers [NPC - perhaps the Temporal Agent at Quinn's door? Or Sulu??] will assist you from time to time with adjusting to modern life in today's Federation/Starfleet.
[existing text about the shipyard]."
17) Admiral Quinn doesnt get pissed off by you rocking up in your old uniform - either make him a sticker for appearance (which seems silly) or make him deliberately not care. It is also unclear why the mission rewards you a 'free costume change' given you've literally JUST visited the tailor beforehand (rather than after). What would be helpful are some new Shield Batteries and Weapons Batteries given we've probably used all that we had with the long battles with the Nakuhl and the Klingons in the last two missions. Alternatively, perhaps switch the order of the Admiral and the Tailor missions??
18) Following the selection of a new ship, I am encouraged to go and speak to Ensign Raak who is introduced as a fellow former classmate from the Academy. This is true from the 'normal' Fed tutorial as he beams the Klingons on board like a total moron, but you've not seen him to this point in TOS given he is a Caitian. Continuity??
What are the thoughts of other testers out there??
IIRC, Daniels explains you are a minor footnote. Quinn has no idea who you are. your persona has been fabricated, basically you are a hot rising star and Quinn is responding to a fabricated recommendation to give you a ship
I object to being kidnapped by Daniels, my crew, and I could have made it to the escape pods and more to the point ""Players can create brand new captains in the Original Series era and begin their own journey in command of their very own 2270 era starship""
I mean why couldn't my captain atleast level up through TOS and TMP era ships, make admiral, and then given the option to be kidnapped???
Besides from a storyline point of view, your going to tell me that after that ""we don't save anyone"" speech Daniels gave me on about saving the crew on USS Defiant, it's perfectly fine for him to hijack the entire crew of my ship and send us to the future!?!?!?
Honestly speaking from a players perspective....I really feel that its a huge let down being sent to the future, I'm just going to make a TOS skipper and not do that one mission, so i can stay in my little TOS universe :P
IIRC, Daniels explains you are a minor footnote. Quinn has no idea who you are. your persona has been fabricated, basically you are a hot rising star and Quinn is responding to a fabricated recommendation to give you a ship
Star Fleet doesn't do background checks???
Or evan better, Daniels is fighting a faction of time travelers who are attempting to change the past while his faction dose the same hypocritical thing by hijacking ships, and crews and randomly placing them in other past time periods???

We're a minor footnote of heroic sacrifice. So that gives us 2 scenarios. Either
1. Dying in that battle had no meaning, Starfleet wasn't able to use the time we bought them to escape/warn others that the Klingons now had cloaking technology, or
2. Heroic sacrifices happened so often nobody really cared about them when they happened.
We know that 1 isn't true since Daniels tells us that us dying in combat with the Klingons at Caleb IV allowed the rest of the fleet to escape and warn Starfleet that the Klingons could cloak now.
So that, rather depressingly leaves number 2, heroic sacrifices happened so often that they were passe, boring.
"Hey look another heroic sacrifice."
"So what? I lost 20 Ecred's on the game last night!"
"Yeah, to me. Pay up."
As mentioned Starfleet does do background checks, but, as they're done on computer it's easy to slip someone in. If Quinn gets curious it just needs a nod from the temporal investigations guy outside his office. Problem solved.
Daniels DID kidnap us but he didn't change the timeline to do so. All other ethics/moralities take second place to keeping the timeline as it "should be". I'm pretty sure that Genocide would be allowed if it kept the timeline ticking along in the proscribed direction, especially considering that some changes would result in the genocide of other races. The Temporal Prime Directive seems very much a "The end justifies the means" sort of thing. As long as history turns out the way we want it to, IE it creates the future Federation that Daniels is from, do what ever you need to do.
Daniels worked with us on a few missions and knows we can help with keeping the timeline headed in the right direction so he "rescues" us. Temporal investigations gets a new operative, the timeline continues on its' merry way and we keep on living, It's a win all round! So now we get to murder our way across time and space to make sure everyone gets a happy ending. And by "everyone" I mean the Federation.

"I never imagined that I would meet you; a Hero of the Federation! Your story forms a small part of the rich tapestry of Starfleet's tradition, in an era where we reached for the stars to seek out new life and new civilisations. Yet somehow I still envy you - you walked alongside the most famed starship commanders; Kirk, [Shran], [X], and [Y]; and the late 23rd Century was a time of great exploration, of great learning, and of great sacrifice.
But history is a fickle thing; as time passes, the sacrifices of individuals fade into memory - as it was with you and your crew. I recall your heroic last stand at Caleb IV from a school history project, but I regret to say that your actions are not widely remembered. Today, I undertake to correct this injustice. It is imperative that the Federation better remembers the sacrifices of all those whose have gone unwitnessed! Alas, I fear that many more young officers will soon be asked to make similar sacrifices of their own.
History will give long overdue consideration to the actions of you and your crew. Sacrificing yourselves in order to protect the lives of others; as Starfleet officers, there can be no higher calling. Together, you upheld the finest values of Starfleet and the Federation even in a time of utmost crisis, where lesser leaders would have instead taken the easy path. - We are going to a space battle. Oh he wants us to fix another time incursion while we die for the cause? And he got some of my crew? After he smugly plays puppet master? Please let me slug him.
25th century ESD. Okay with all the uniform effects, why do we get that Quinn is serious about proper uniforms when we can blatantly see he isn't? Just have the quartermaster say he has some papers for us and is very sorry about the shipping accident that destroyed the personal effects of me and my bridge crew. Here is a chit to get a new uniform, sir.
And lastly can I please shoot Daniels?

Hm... Presumably in some version of the timeline their organization was founded by the UFP. Then they went and became a temporal paradox. Why? Presumably a form of secrecy. They want to avoid having forces like the Na'kuhl try to defeat them by assassinating their agents before they could join. This way their enemies have absolutely no idea where or when any of their agents came from.
Just played the mission again. Better structure after you takeout the ship that has you in a tractor beam, but still no reason why you have to stay and die. No "Our warp core is malfunctioning, should be online in 5 minutes" sort of thing. the federation just ups and runs with Admiral Garret giving a "Fare thee well and thanks for dying so I can run away" good bye. I do like the fact that the main klingon force doesn't arrive to wipe you out until the federation fleet has retreated. I forced Kor to cloak and run before getting killed so that was a bonus. took a few klingon ships with me also.
Should Kor really be assisting the Na'kuhl, or would he attack them instead? The player ship should take part and that is how it will get blown up, instead of just by the Klingons.
Also a bottle episode needs to be added for the AOY Player when they get their first 25th century ship, where he briefs his fellow 23rd'er Boffs on where/when they are, they tour the new ship, and meet their new shipmates.

1. In the first cutscene with Kor and the Nak'hul fella, the audio dialog overlaps - they're speaking over each other.
2. When the camera pans around to show my captain in that cutscene, he's carrying a 25th century phaser.
3. The cutscene just before you beam out is very messed up. The camera is pointing at a wall, there's a weird weapon effect firing in a random direction as I fall, and the scene fades out before Kor finishes speaking.
Played through this again, aside from the cut scenes with Kor and the Nak'hul, it was gorgeous! Kor's dialogue overlapped with the Nak'hul's and the camera faces the wall, but that was the only problem I saw/heard. Great job on those cut scenes!
Played through it again and some things still need to be tweaked:
-during the first space battle, one Klingon ship refused to disappear when brought to zero HP, causing most of the fleet to keep firing on it
-the fleet pursue the fleeing ship too slow, so either you have to wait until they move or you have to handle the ships yourself
-once they arrive to help you, they tend not to fire on the enemy, leaving you to deal with all Klingon ships
-When Kor talks to you, the shooting instantly starts, so your choices are to read and hear what he's saying while being shot at or close the window and open fire
-during the cutscene when he knocks you out, the Boffs tend to be there, standing weapons ready, to ruin his speech as they stay while the ship is blowing up
-the battle during is a bit tough as your allies are slower than snails to reach their escape point and the Klingon reinforcements come at your location so they'll gang up on you, probably causing you to die once before you can get to properly "die".
-during the cutscene of your last stand, your ship completely disappears making the Klingons fire at nothing.
-when Daniels debrief you, you disappear as well, making him talk to nothing.
