Game crashes occasionally when loading ESD or Sector space

Topic. Since about a week or two ago, I've been crashing at least once a day either when loading ESD or when loading Sector space after a Red Alert or STF. My specs are 400% the recommended, i7 QuadCore at 2.5 GHz and the GeForce GTX 860M. This is despite the fact that I had to lower my in-game settings because the game would crash far more often at max settings even though my comp can handle it quite easily (and this is the only one crashing like this, and I have many games, several of which have higher specs needed). In addition, two of my friends have also said they have had the same issue. As such, this is clearly a game engine issue. I would be appreciative if you repaired whatever is wrong, thank you kindly. So tired of this every. single. day.
