Per the title, game crashes when trying to take command in the klingon tutorial.

    Same here.Was really looking forward to playing the KDF too.

    Can verify. In addition, if you exit the game at the "talk to the captain" stage of the tutorial (such as, for example, because you swapped from windowed to full screen mode and found the game wouldn't let your mouse outside the upper left section of the screen due to a resolution change), the captain doesn't respawn and you can't continue without deleting and recreating the character.

    One thing I noticed, the top and bottom of the screen go black bordered. I wonder if it is trying to start playing a cutscene?

    Get this same problem my self. Also a old friend of mine to. Went to make new Kling chars and at the take over ship crash every time. I have noticed though This is on my account that recently got transferred from cryptic. So is my friends perhaps something got lost in translation.
