Even after today's fix, Risa and other maps still are sluggish...even when they have no reason to be.

I wont play on low settings, because it gives me only 5 fps, but the game looks like quake2 with software rendering. Rather not play it at all.

Joke of the century!!!! I tried playing the crytalline event..Hit engage..Get to the map..My ship doesnt appear..Briefing happens..I see other players zip past me into the fight and here comes the ultimate joke..The other players finish the mission and then I warp in!!!!! I mean seriously??? WTF?!

All of the above except I don't have a high to ultra end gaming rig. I have to run my game in near minimum settings and even then I still get frame rate drops, stuttering, lag, texture problems, heck sometimes when I first log in it takes a WHOLE TWO MINUTES almost for me to even be able to do anything cause the UI takes its sweet time getting all loaded up. I've even had a couple graphics driver crashes straight to desktop and it recovers. Something is very wrong within the games coding I think but I wouldn't know what it is.

Choppy gameplay

Try all of the above, plus I had the all graphics settings to low or off (except for character detail distance which was maxed), game patches, game goes all laggy and choppy.
So I checked my graphics settings, turned out they had been reset to default = everything maxed!

Now I get crashes to desktop every half-hour to an hour unless I stick to sector or space maps.
I get crashes just entering Sol, beaming to ESD, entering new romulus space, beaming to new romulus command (laggiest place ingame!), beaming to first city, beaming to dyson command, beaming to delta command and forget about going to the dyson battleground (which was tied with new romulus command as laggiest place before my graphics got reset) the game becomes a horrible stop-motion mess.

Also, DO NOT suggest that I change the graphics settings because I can NOT DO SO (I tried multiple times on different characters and at the character selection screen).
If I so much as click on any of the graphics options the game freezes up, sometimes the mouse cusor will also vanish, and I have to force-quit the game.

As for using the crash-reporter, I have to force-quit it most of the time and even if it does seem to work nothing happens.

Playing with low settings on an ultra highe end rig

I still have to play on DX9 on my 390. DX11 just crashes all the time.
