Hello everyone,

Basically what all runs with strong players look like..
Not quite as bad in lower runs, but still noticeable.
And it does beg the question - does multiplayer turn into an unsupported feature of STO?

Lag doesn't really translate well to a video as the viewer doesn't know what is being pressed and expected, but the rubberbanding, the SNR and even the standstill should be pretty obvious...

(just making sure):
Pingplotter plots at 100ms, ingame 120-150 according to netgraph.
Its not only one person's computer, because everyone was experiencing the issue.
And it's not only a european problem, as players from the states or other parts of the world experience it too... .

Hopefully the lag issue gets resolved faster than last year and let's see if consoles get the same amount of lag too.... .

Are you guys running Frenzy? My guess is you guys were since your site recommends it in your skill tree.

Frenzy has been one of the biggest lag inducers since the revamp. The same goes for most sources of firing haste (especially when stacked).

It shouldn't be a case that players should have to stop using an ability because it breaks the game
Because there simply shouldn't be an ability that breaks the game!

We even paid for some of the abilities, like the tactical flagship computer..... .

The lag is as bad as last year and killing the game for a lot of people.

Yeah I agree these need to be fixed. Respecs aren't free and some of the consoles here cost money.

The good news is that the devs have found some performance breaking issues. Hopefully whatever they found fixes this too.

Well, it has been acknowledged, and work is being done. One can hope that it's fast enough and effective enough to stop attrition... or, at the very least, just before AoY launches.
