Server Not Responding - Fleet Starbase

Has anyone else been noticing this occurring since last patch?

It usually happens when docking at the fleet base, but will sometimes occur when approaching the fleet base from sector space (map transfers).

The SNR delay is almost always about 30 to 32 seconds (as per the red timer).

The loading "timer" (large numbers top right of screen) during the SNR are usually stuck at around 1-2 "seconds", and then jumps to 30 and counts up normally before successfully loading the new map.

I have done a forced verify with no change in the above behaviour.

Mainly a nuisance, but don’t remember this happening before.

I did have a crash over a week ago (before the last patch) where my “player/character” container could not be transferred when entering the fleet starbase. Could this be related?

    Yes, I've noticed this, too. Not just fleet bases, but going into red alerts, too.

    This issue appears to be getting more frequent now, mainly docking at fleet starbase.
    Are we there yet?

    I have seen the issue in the areas already listed and loading into DS9 too.

    I have not had any crashed but I have had a few Disconnects and had to log back in.

    Its happening alot at earth space dock and in the ingame loading screen while moving into new mission areas or RA's,,Also in heavy RA's the game becomes a little choppy..

    getting disconnects now and snr's are happening everywhere..

    Ditto. This started happening to me yesterday, and has been a fairly constant thing all day today. I can't go more than 15 minutes without seeing an SNR, and it usually drops me back to login.

    Happened in a que, and when I logged back in, it flagged me as leaving the que and giving me the 20 minute lockout.

    SNR stopped, now all im getting is lag/delay, :(

    Pretty much getting SNR's on most map changes, lasting around 35 sec., no disconnects. Used to only have it when going to my bridge, but now it seems to happen at fleet bases, red alerts, starbases (ESD/DS9/etc).

    Glad I'm not alone in this, misery loves company... lol

    Could it be the server has been set to give these transfers a lower priority?

    Cryptic really should rework/streamline how these transfers work between our fleet holdings. They encourage us to dump mucho resources into them, then we get punished with map transfer after map transfer to visit them all. It's like buying a new house with key locks on the doors to each room....

    happens on quite a regular bases when changing maps - always just over 30 seconds.
    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
    KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
    all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
    all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982

    it is unplayable when a bulk of players are online..that time you can forget about playing because its just a mean joke with the SNR's..

    Unplayable for you, perhaps. I don't have SNR's except when swapping maps.

    Same here. Strictly limited to fleet starbase map transfers at this point. Other locations have been fine so far... Again appears to happen more frequently the greater the number of players in-game.

    Problem is getting worse. Had one go 300 sec. just a few minutes again and had to restart the game, and now stuck waiting for transwarp to recharge. >_>

    Yep here as well but not just fleet but all over the game when going into missions and more also total lock up of the game in load screens.

    Still only Fleet Starbase here... but today had a double SNR... once approaching the base and a second docking. Both were 30 seconds. Colour me impressed.....

    I've been getting that SNR thing for awhile now, but today I've been getting map closed and getting disconnected when I transwarp to Fleet Starbase.
    It's getting annoying.

    Currently trying to go to my bridge after 4 mins of SNR i've force quit the game and going to re-try. But yes i get SNR frequently on map transfers. Particularly going to bridge, DBZ, ESD, DS9, sometimes PvE

    Seem to be having a issue transferring to a shuttle bridge today. 3 toons 2 SNR for a long long time and the other disconnected from game.

    It does seem unusually bad today - and the fleet facilities do seem to be a weak point; I'm not sure if it's actually a problem with those maps, or if it's just that I notice it so much more, because of all the map changes I tend to do.

    A typical session, just after logging on, will go something like:-

    Transwarp to Research Lab,
    from there, go immediately to Research Lab ground,
    do the business there, then transwarp to Fleet Starbase,
    go immediately to Fleet Starbase Ground,
    do what needs doing there, then go to Dilithium Mine,
    and, of course, go to Dilithium Mine Ground,
    then transwarp back to Fleet Starbase
    and use the transwarp portal there to go to wherever I actually want to be!

    That's a lot of map changes, usually with 30-40 seconds of "Server not responding" each time, and a worryingly high chance of getting disconnected with each one. It might be worth looking at this process and seeing if it could be streamlined.

    At seems in the patch note slated to be done tomorrow there is apparently a some server working going to be done in terms of the game coding pertaining to the server load (Attributes)..So......Lets hope for the best???
