"Version mismatch" no matter what I do

I am an LTS, and have used Tribble several times in the past with no problems. Today, however, after patching up Tribble and starting the client, I got a "version mismatch" error and was told to go and re-patch. So I closed the client, re-opened the launcher, clicked the Tribble button and tried patching Tribble again. It downloaded no new files. I tried a force verify, and again, everything was there and nothing new was downloaded. So I started the client again, and got the same message. So I deleted my Tribble folder from the hard drive entirely, and started patching Tribble again from scratch. Once that was done, I hit Engage, the client loaded, and... "version mismatch". I am unable to play Tribble at all as a result.

    This should be fixed now. You may need to re-launch the launcher to patch correctly.

    It works now! I mean, there's still that rifle bug in the tutorial mission, but I can at least log in and play.

    Im still getting the "version mismatch", says to close and to reopen to patch but there is no new patch. I have restarted it 8 times now and still its saying version mismatch.

    *EDIT* Im trying the Force Verify to see if that help.
    *Re-Edit* Force Verify did not work. Still getting Old Load screen from New Dawn.
    *Re-Re-Edit* Hit the Tribble Button repeatedly til Tribble started to repatch. 143MB Patch - Repatch did not work

    I'm having a similar problem. My patch goes through and I can then load Tribble with the new AoY title screen. I then can play all the available content. However, each time I close the game and then come back a while later my launcher downloads a "new" patch. This patch reverts the game to the "New Dawn" screen and gives the version mismatch error. Then, if I close a again, it will re-download the newer patch and AoY is back. All of which is a bit frustrating as my game always loads very slow after a large patch. (Until it times out once and I manually sign-in actually) As such, getting into the test server is becoming a rather lenghty process.

    I just now experienced this as well. New Dawn splash screen mis-match.

    EDIT to add: After restarting the launcher four times, it seems to be patching (re-patching?) 2130MB of data. Perhaps that is what was needed?

    I ran into this bug last night, but was able to finally get in and play, but this morning I seem to be caught in the "Version Mis-match" funtastic-ness.

    I keep restarting the launcher, and Tribble keeps patching, but I still get the "version mis-match" message every time.

    Restarted and patched about 7 times now, each time the launcher has patched Tribble. Total MB per patch has varied.

    Trying one more time, then I'm just going to slam my head in a door for a while, see if that helps. :p

    Okay, I actually got in that time. Patch size was 2130MB, so maybe everyone who is having this trouble should just keep restarting the launcher until they get a patch that is that size, then try to log in?

    Just a suggestion.

    I got in this morning. I successfully created and customized an Andorian Captain. However, now I can't get past character creation and into the game itself without a crash. I guess I will just wait until next patch is pushed to Tribble. Baby steps. ;)

    I got the mimatch error, logged out re launced and got the patch, got to charcter select screen were I had to correct my display resolution, entered the game, because I corrected the resolution display it messed my cursor up, where its about an inch out of sync, I had to log out and re launch the game again, where I got another patch and the mismatch error message again.

    Got in last night successfully after getting the Version mis-match and then verifying and repatching - but again today at around 4:55 PM PST - decide to check Tribble - anhd Tribble STARTED patching itself; appeared to complete; and then on logging in had a "New Dawn" splash page and a version mismatch error yet again.

    You guys really need to get the Tribble patch system in order because if I have to do this (and redownload 2+ GB EVERYTIME I want to get on to Tribble to test) - forget it.

    I get that new content will have bugs, but your patching system should be bug free after 6 years of development.

    The problem with that is that 'that' patch doesn't stick. If I log out I have to go through the whole circle of re-patching again even though...
    This should be fixed now. You may need to re-launch the launcher to patch correctly.

    Restarting the client simple means more patching. On the upside I have gotten in to play, I've just crashed twice due to bugs/errors and thus had to start the patching circle of love over again.

    hit and miss for me. I get in sometimes other times it patches to a version with miss-match error and then the subsequent patch works until - game crashes on either loading in from character load screen or shortly after getting back in game.

    Recommend launching the game directly from the .exe as this keeps your last patch on tribble. Going through Arc or Steam seems to be causing it to keep trying to patch.

    Same problem and when re-patching, the Patched portion freezes while the Received increases to a certain point then goes back down in an infinite loop.

    I have never used Steam or Arc - it's happening with the base/'old' Cryptic Launcher still too. And if you try to launch using the 'Gameclient.exe' directly in the STO\Test folder you won't connect to the server.

    Same "Version mismatch" - been restarting 20 times plus - never Patches, never works
    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
    KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
    all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
    all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982

    I did a fresh install of Tribble just this morning, and am getting the same 'version mismatch' error. Everytime I open the launcher, Tribble patches again - and the patches are fairly sizeable. After 6 rounds of patching, I still can't get into Tribble.

    I'm happy enough to wait. I just hope the Devs are fully aware that so many of us are having these problems with Tribble.

    I've tried completely blowing out the PlayTest folder and letting it reinstall. At one point I managed to get online to Tribble briefly. The game crashed when I triggered the turbolift, and went right back into the patching circle of Hell.
