So for a good while.. Playing STO I've noticed my FPS has gone down more and more almost each passing day it feels.
During the course of these last months.. I've done a couple of reformats of my computer, installed STO all over again.. Been through various drivers for my system. But one thing always remains, most Star Trek Online maps are stuttery with low choppy FPS.
Other maps the FPS is jumping all over the place, from 120 smooth and nice to falling down to 20.. 25.. Then suddenly up to 45... 120.. And down to 20... For no apparent reason.
Strange thing is, changing the graphics settings make NO difference whatsoever... Playing on ultra low or ultra high.. Makes no difference on my FPS, the only thing that does make a difference is renderscale..
Oh and on more thing.. If I disable the UI, I gain about 20-30 FPS depending on my map... Why isn't this fixed?..

The current UI was introduced with legacy of romulus (season 7). It was running perfectly fine till season 10.
The UI was working and then something must have caused this bug. A new UI might not fix it.
