Chat stopped reacting from one moment suddenly and when i relogged, only the local option is left and it doesn't work too.

Seems to be down indeed. Zone chat suddenly went silence and has been for 10 minutes as well as most private channels.

The silence is deafening!!! Zone chat I can do without but the local and other channels I use...

Any word from a dev as to if this has been noticed and being worked on?

Not just chat... friend list is empty, can't send any private messages, etc... so bug seems pretty deep.

Well in a way im releaved its not just me. But its quite horrible not being able to use communication in an online game like this. I hope this gets fixed today!

I can't send things in mail, either, it would appear. I can drag stuff from inventory into a mail, but it doesn't leave my inventory when I send it, nor does the new mail show up if I send something to myself.

Chat and mail very basicaly use the same 'program' to send messages - my guess a stripped down instant messenger type clone which has borked up.

Any form of communication in game is effected.
