This needs to be looked at ....
The keybinds file has changed. Each keybind now has extra quote marks at the end of each line.
You can't remove some keybind action. Try using the "Clear" button, it doesn't work.....
When you load your keybinds file it looks like it changes the commands, but if you look at the keybinds they have the default values (Even though your keybinds work, explain how that happens?)
Please roll back any changes you have made to the keybinds .... you are just f'n the keybinds up.....
WE NEED A DEV TO COMMENT ON THIS !!!!
WHEN WE ASK FOR HELP WE DON'T GET IT AND THEN YOU GO AN MESS UP THE KEYBINDS WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING TO THEM ... PLEASE JUST LET US KNOW WHEN YOU ARE CHANGES THESE THINGS!!!!

BUMP. I've been having this problem too...I won't be able to play until its fixed as I use a joystick to improve my piloting.
m "" was not working. It reverted to opening the map.
m "GiggleSnort" was a joke idea that kinda worked. It didn't rebind to map, but did say: [System] Unknown command "GiggleSnort". Let's just hope we don't have a GiggleSnort alias.
m "unbind_local m" seems to work completely without any problems.
From what we could tell, there is a set of local default binds that takes over if the server bind is removed. To avoid this, we have to make the server bind to unbinding the local version. It may not be pretty, but that's what's working for us so far.

I'm I the only one that see that as a problem?
They ask us to update the Wiki, but don't comment when I asked for help with the keybinds, and then this happened....
How can we update the Wiki if they never help us when there is a change like this?
I'm (We are) just looking for some help, please take a few minutes from your day, please........
I don't know why Arc is ignoring us customers, but I was spending $300 + a month on average. Not only will i not spend another dime until this is fixed, but I won't even bother playing. R.I.P. STO its been a fun few years
That maybe help preventing new players accidently deleting important keybinds, but has also a massive negative impact to those who use advanced key-bindings.
Please devs, give at least those of us who know what they do the possibility to delete default keybinds with the "unbind" command.
