BO ability "photonic officer" BUG

BO ability photonic officer BUG

This ability has a CD of 3 minutes and is pretty useless, the CD takes too long. 30 seconds would be better.
The ability affects only a bridge officer from but the other skills are not shortened. That should be changed.
The service officers to (photonic officer) could "+15 to all energy for 10 seconds at the use of BO bring ability" to make this a konkurenz for Aux2Bat.

Another thing: Could Krennim BO not only bring 10% but the same CD as bonus BO ability "Photonic Officer I" with the space property "Temporal technology" bring not only 10% but the same CD as bonus BO ability "Photonic Officer I"?

    Just as a heads up this forum is where people come to report bugs. Something like this would be better suited to the general discussion area.

    With that said this isn't a bug and it's working as intended. This ability is far from useless. Because it can actually shorten the cooldowns of other abilities is why it has such a long cooldown itself. It's not meant to be used lightly and it's not meant to be used that often. To allow that type of spamming of photonic officer would essentially be a permanent cooldown reduction to all bridge officer abilities, which is not something they want to do.

    Point being with A2b it takes 2 slots and 3 doff slots to do it. Photonic officer does it all from one ability. again not a bug but working as intended.

    Photonic Officier needs but also 2 skills places. 3 service officers can be employed in photonic officer also. this reducing recharge time for this skill. this doffs could further provide energy bonus

    The copies of photonic officer share a long cooldown so having more than one copy of it is useless. You also don't need to have the doffs for it to be effective.

    By aux-to-bat im using 2 Bridge officers abilities they each other boosts and 3 technician Duty officers. By the photonic ability can these each 2x use and the 3 photonic duty officers to short the recearge time of the ability.

    However in comparison with aux2bat this skill IS underpowered. Only Things that speaksfor it over aux2bat is that aux power stays high and you can use aux2SIF.
    aux2bat on the other Hand also improves all other power lvls.

    so while it's working as intended, it's one of the skills one doesn't use. Learning this game is learning which skills/skill combinations are good and which ones aren't.
    If you go for a DPS build, you will HAVE to use BFAW over BO, Surgical strikes or similar skills. Currently it's beams over cannons over torps...

    this is not a bug, this is "working as intended" ie: bad balancing.
