Kerrat has been a hotbed for cloak and opportunism since DR. As a Fed and Fed-Rom i frequently go into kerrat with a snooper build.
The real question is: If you know there are Roms waiting in ambush, then why don't you hunt them with a snooper build.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

"Ghetto" isn't the best term. "Cowardly," maybe, but striking when your enemy is weakened and distracted is a tactic of warfare, and it is a War Zone.... Just remember that those people hiding in the cloak, not even pretending to care about the "encryption nodes and repair hulks" mission while they pick their moment, have all the advantage in the fight. They're definitely not earning anything to be proud of, and sometimes they still don't win.
a part of a city, especially a slum area, occupied by a minority group or groups.
verb
or
put in or restricted to an isolated or segregated area or group.
It was originally related to the description of certain Jewish settlements, but the meaning has since changed.
Not quite sure how it comes into play with the OP. But in, and as of itself its not offensive (unless you want to be one of those people who finds 'anything' offensive).
Saying that; it was a pretty pointless word to use in the OP as it had nothing to do with what was being discussed (They could have just as easily described such things as 'fish style' or 'accorn fashion' and it would have made just as (less) sense.
The place to fight fair in Ker'rat is cracked, go there and challenge the cloakers. Better yet, do cap&hold to teach them the error of their ways with sweet canon fire. I'm a fed, it's what I do and it's remarkably therapeutic.
I find the term "Ghetto", as used by the OP to be offensive, insulting, and most probably used in a racist fashion.
I grew up in Mississippi during the Sixties. Y'all ain't got the first clue as to how offensive some of the terms you Internet denizens throw about with reckless abandon truly are. Because you are shielded from the consequences of your actions by the Internet. Seriously doubt some people will ever have enough vertebrae to use such language in person to another human being.
So yeah, there are words I am offended by. No matter how they are used.
And if it irritates you when I ask for manners and civility and respect, then this is your problem not mine.
I cannot stop you from thinking in a small minded 17th Century manner. But I will do everything I can do to prevent you from uttering it in public where decent people can hear.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
I have fun in Ker'rat, of course not as much as I used to have, but it's still fun. I'm in there most of the time I'm online. Ker'rat is always active, the bad thing is that 90% of the people in there are Feds. Not much can be done about this, since the majority of players in game are Feds and as for some people attacking weak players, well you can't really do anything about that either. I think it's been like that since Day 1.

Oh cry me a river. Everybody has a sob story to tell. If I told you my own you would most likely dehydrate yourself.
That does not mean I can arbitrarily decide what words are 'offensive' and police the internet based upon how I 'feel'.
What can be done to discourage Ghetto Style play in the Ker’rat Open PvP Zone?
Ghetto Style play is practiced primarily by Romulan Federation faction players using Enhanced Battle Cloak.
These “Ghetto Style” players don’t perform the mission and purposely stay out of the space battle. They stay just on the fringes of the battlefield “cloaked”, fully buffed and rested waiting for a badly damaged KDF ship to happen by or they will spring to life when 3 or 4 Federation players are in the process of finishing off a KDF opponent. True to form these ghetto players then gloat on chat about their PvP prowess and denigrate the defeated opponent.
This is an issue because the KDF faction is outnumbered 90% of the time on this map and it is primarily a defensive battle for them most of the time. To finish a space battle, depleted, against great odds only to have a Romulan coward come at you from behind fully buffed and rested is figuratively going Ghetto.
The player who practices “Ghetto Style” does so because their ship builds are poor and they are generally not the most skilled as players so they avoid traditional PvP instead employing the stab-in-the-back approach.
If you can't handle the fire, stay out of the kitchen.
Please don't compare your "sob story" with being a racial minority in the U.S. South in the 60s. There is no way whatever it is you "struggle" with comes close. Thanks in advance.
You sure about that? Try being a black South African in South Africa around the same and even more recent time period. (Just an example in this case but there's always someone worse off when people can look past their own nose.)
Oy, this went downhill right at the start. Never been there myself so I haven't the foggiest of all this.
'But to be logical is not to be right', and 'nothing' on God's earth could ever 'make it' right!'
Judge Dan Haywood
'As l speak now, the words are forming in my head.
l don't know.
l really don't know what l'm about to say, except l have a feeling about it.
That l must repeat the words that come without my knowledge.'
Narthais - you're absolutely right. There are plenty of worse examples out there in the world, but I am 100% sure that the player in questions doesn't fall into those categories.
Outskirts would have been term better suited and one with far less racial impact.
Racism is serious, but does not apply to this topic and its value in a debate is diminished if it keeps being thrown around like this. Despite its seriousness i also feel it is often used as an excuse to avoid personal responsibility, but that debate should not be held here and now (if ever).
Now shall we return to the hit and run tactics in kerrat?

Shall we move away from the whole racism?
Now shall we return to the hit and run tactics in kerrat?
I don't really have a problem with 'hit and run' tactics, it's just another way to play, and in some cases the only way to survive, especially if you are flying a 'soap bubble' like a B'rel which pops if you so much as look at it.

T'varo instead of B'rel, but i concur.
But in kerrat it is wise to follow the example of the borg: adapt!
The klingons and romulans may be the masters of stealth, but the federation masters stealth detection.
Complete stealth is often unnecessary, one only needs to get into range for an attack or in range to detect the opponent.
Mask energy signature either from science power, intel ship or KHG space set works like a charm for that.
Keep basic tactics in mind: if you see a non cloaking klingon or romulan then you can expect 2-3 lingering in the vicinity under cloak.
Bottom line is: learn and adapt.

This is true...No such thing as honor in the battle field.

Here's a better and more recent one:
War does not determine who is right, only who is left.
