Unable to open reward packs items in your overflow bag

The patch yesterday made it so that reward packs can't be opened with items in the overflow bag. Some people have had issues where mysterious items appeared in their overflow bag and prevented them from opening reward packs; I have a different issue. A few of my characters have hundred of reputation marks and R&D packs in their overflow bags (if anyone's curious, those characters are at max rep and don't really need the dilithium so when the packs started piling up in my overflow bag, I wasn't in a rush to open them up). I literally don't have enough inventory space to move all those packs from the overflow bag to my inventory, but I can't open the packs (thus clearing inventory space) without completely clearing my overflow bag. Is this working as intended or is this a bug that will be fixed? It makes it very hard to do anything because I can't even run admiralty missions for fear that my inventory is just going to become clogged with one-time ship cards.

    Same here, bank, boxes, and overflow bank are all horked up.

    Just happened to me. I can not open the overflow bag. My bags are empty. I have room.

    Mark Packs seem to stack, so you need to just free up a few inventory or bank slots and you should be able to stack them up by event. No idea what the max stack is, as I just noticed that they did on my 'Starship' item issue character.

    Edit: My mistake, the Admiralty reward packs (one-time-use ship packs, andone stack per rarity of material pack) were what were stacking. At least the R&D packs are unbound, so you can mail them to an alt to open.

    I can not suddenly open what is in a box, although more than half of my inventory is empty, because there's something in the overflow bag that I can not get it out. It is indicated that my inventory is full when I try to empty the overflow bag

    I have the same. Overflow shows "Starship", just "Starship", I can't remove or discard because of the inventory full issue and my inventory is far from full. Can't open reward packs either, again, inventory full comes up.

    check your roster isn't full - some of the items duplicated in the new season update were DOFFs
