I'm just looking forward to actually skilling up my characters "for realsies". I have three 60th level captains on whom I just stopped bothering to spend skill points back around level 40 because I couldn't be bothered, knowing it would all be reset soon.

That prepatch thing has never once worked on my computer. And since I started using Arc the game always crashes when I close it anyway. So no, I won't LET IT DO ITS THING!!!!
Mine is patching 3.2 freaking GIGABITES, it's been running all damned day. Is it ok to cancel and play? Will it resume the download later or will stopping it TRIBBLE it up and make it start over?
It should continue just fine, just like a regular patch.

talking of season 11.5 I thought we might see some wizard skill sets posted by now what with all those players testing all their different builds on tribble since the new system went live there.
cant say I have had any problem downloading the patch, ok it was very big but it only took about 30 minutes to download & install.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
for what did i download 6gb prepatch if its now download all of it again?

Very good question. I also pre patched last week, thinking it might download much less now. Guess I was wrong, so no STO for me today. Hopefully I can still claim the daily reward tomorrow.
All I know is that every time a patch is released, I then have problems just getting the game started. It keeps getting stuck at the "Loading...: screen, eventually timing out. I usually have to do this several times before I can get logged in. It is only successful if it actually gets to the character screen. It's very annoying. I've been trying to get in for the past several days & no success so far. ARGHHH!!! Missing out on free stuff!!!
Every week when my game patches it takes a long while to get the Character Select Screen. And the first time it does finish the load it has already forgotten the Authentication Token and I need to sign in again.

69%, received only 64.5 MB - but I use on-demand patching so total patch size is roughly halved.
