please help. i have 960 6th anniversary prize vouchers and i understand i can get the remaining 40 using lobi crystals. please tell me how to do that, as i am lost.

Okay, so you can't get the ship this year. However, if previous precedents are followed, you will be able to use the 2017 anniversary vouchers to finish the project. It's just one day of extra grinding, and a year's worth of 'useless event slot'. Well worth it for another T6 ship.

don't work that way any more, from here on in any uncompleted seasonal event projects will be deleted by cryptic before the next event.
even if not, they would not except the different event vouchers to be used to fill them so you cannot fill a 2016 project with a 2017 voucher.
don't take my word for it though, hang on to that project if you think it will do any good but don't say I didn't warn you when you find out it wont.

I have all the ships Cryptic's going to let me get, I can't test that theory one way or the other. However, either they'll delete the projects outright or let them be filled by 2017 vouchers - there's no logic in keeping them active otherwise.
In either case, it doesn't do him any harm to keep the project slotted until the next anniversary, so my recommendation quite firmly remains 'wait and see'.

you only need to read the web pages I listed in my earlier post to realise the truth of the matter.

What's 'realistic' is not prematurely dismissing any possibilities. Let Cryptic conclusively (as in 'by doing instead of saying') dismiss them for you, as they see fit.
We won't know the final outcome until the project is either deleted or completed, and while it is entirely possible that the OP (or anyone else sharing his predicament) won't benefit from keeping the project slotted, it is an undeniable fact that he does not lose anything, not even time, by keeping it slotted - therefore the logical choice is to 'futilely hope' that there's a light at the end of the metaphorical tunnel, rather than immediately giving up on it.

all they are of use for is wasting a bank slot that is better used for storing something you can actually make use of.

and sure don't delete those unfinished event projects, totally disregard the fact that cryptic want you to play for the ships in the event they are featured, not the previous event or the next event.
but don't take any notice of me, you are right & I am wrong, when the next event comes around you can all get your ships with last years vouchers and you can all get last years ships with this years vouchers, cryptic was only pretending they were going to use these rules from now on, they didn't really mean it.

Why should someone who has allocated the Vouchers to an almost completed Project, throw that Project Away? It doesn't take up ONE precious Inventory or Bank Slot. Nose, I'm cutting you off just to spite my face.
If they remove the Project, that is their right and prerogative. No point in aiding and abetting.

Okay, now you're putting words in people's mouths that were never there.
Nobody said that this year's vouchers will be usable in next year's projects. If that were possible, then Cryptic would have failed miserably at their stated goal.
What we did extrapolate from the current pattern, however, was that next year's vouchers will be usable in this year's projects, if, and only if those projects were started this year and never finished. That is a completely different thing, and while most (if not all) of us have acknowledged the possibility that this extrapolation is incorrect, there is enough evidence to make it a very realistic one.

this implies there could be a point in keeping them and the only point of keeping would be to fill projects with next years vouchers or to use next years vouchers to fill last years projects.

what reason would you keep these projects or vouchers if this was not the case.
now like I said if you think I am wrong and believe you will be able to use them then by all means take no notice of what I have said I must be mistaken.

The only reason we were allowed to use new vouchers to fill old projects over the last year was as an attempt to ease the surprise of the transition from the old system (pearls, qmendations, and glossies) to the new. Had they not given everyone the opportunity to finish old projects there would doubtless have been hundreds of complaint threads about it. With that said, we have now had a year to adjust and been told for that entire year in official news releases that if you do not finish the project during the event, it will be removed before the start of the next year's version. Unless Cryptic pulls a 180, that is set in stone.
Still, and back to the OP, I see no reason why one should delete a project until it is deleted for them. There are so many slots on the event rep tab you could practically have one project slotted from each event at once. (And this is speculation but the wording of OP's post makes me think he has already put his vouchers into the project, so I don't think he's losing a bank slot holding any; but I could be wrong.) Nothing ventured is nothing gained, but the OP needs to prepare themselves to accept that the odds of such a reversal happening make the odds of getting an Annorax from your first and only pack look like a sure thing.
