I just figured it was my recently recurring trend of bad luck in this game... well, at least something is getting fixed. Now... *unfurls scroll of issues*
Two weeks ago, we changed a server setting so that it automatically rotated log files every hour. This setting propagated to users' clients, which in some cases could cause issues for parsers trying to read the combatlog.log file. This patch is adding a clientside setting that, if you chose to enable it, will disable that log rotation for your client. After maintenance, to enable this setting, open your launcher options and add "-noautorotatelogs" without the quotation marks to the command line at the bottom of the options screen.
Thank you for clarifying this, though the thought occurs that not everyone reads the forums, any chance this could also be added as a temporary message on the launcher for a few days?
They'd need to do that, honestly. Catering the game to a third-party-tool with severe limitations like comlogreader is not healthy.

So we need to use this code so we can use parcers now ?
And do we need to use this code everytime we log in or just one time ?
Thank you!
I guess that kills the idea that they're working on a rollup fix for the other doffing bugs.
Resolved an issue which was causing Rarity of Duty Officers to not affect the Rewards and Crit Chances on assignments.
My entire crew is made up of Very Rare DOFFs. Hoping to see some better results after this application.
Even if this gets fixed next week, the event will almost be over by then.
All good points, but do tell me please why didn't they take care of this 2 days ago when we had downtime for network
upgrades? Or alternatively why didn't they upgrade the network today during maintenance/patching?
