Yeah.
Edit: So I come on at around 9:30a.m. EST, only to discover they are bringing down the game for about 10 minutes to do some maintenance work on their network. FINE!! So I decide to go play another game and I do that. I come back at around 11:20a.m. EST and I get one Breach run out of the way on one of my six characters, switch to the next one and get server not responding while waiting for my next breach to begin. I go to log back in and the client cannot contact the server. So their network is down again. Or spotty at best? FINE!! So I get back into game, maybe I am lucky or something? Oh but wait, chat in game is offline too, so I cannot even confer with my fellow players.
Hey Cryptic, is anything working right today? You guys getting paid for this?
Edit: Things appear to be working as intended, for now. If they can keep this up for the next 2 hours, get that chat up and running, I may be able to forget this ever happened.
Edit: This is getting dumb now. I was on my fourth of six toons doing my daily breach run and I got server not responding, but thankfully I was able to reconnect with it, unfortunately two members of my team were not so lucky. Finished the run with just us three. Chat still down. I am thinking the whole "forgive and forget" thing is not on the table anymore. This one might just go down in the history, "You remember that one day they took the servers down for network maintenance and they totally screwed up a whole days play for everyone?" -Good times, good times.

1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.

submit a ticket to Cryptic GM in game expressing your dissatisfaction and request, seems the best way to go
Same here, got a leaver penalty on my first character earlier due to "server problems", and now I am guaranteed one on my second character, just now.
Hahaha @ in-game GMs. This isn't EvE Online! I'm not even sure they have GMs *outside* the game. :P

The disconnect/relog/autofail/leaver penalty feature is working as intended. They must be getting a good laugh at our expense. Very funny craptic, very funny.
An important note about submitting in game tickets: don't forget to flush the toilet for proper filing
Just about got my 2 chars through the Breach...again, but at least I can forget about STO until tomorrow, now.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
