Yup, standard indeed. Bradden was an NPC from an older version of the STO website that provided details on the various factions. He fit the bill as 1. an NPC relevant to strategic ops and 2. no longer in use.
That said its hard to see what is essentially a non-character (he's just a function) beat out user submissions for which writing has gone into. So we can toss him out, depending on how many submissions we have to consider (if it's, say, two then we'd best keep him in :P), have me work out the screenshot and sliders (I did nominate him from the wiki entry), or just continue on with things as they are.

I took Captain Ross out. As fun as that could have been on the station (and he is still available for anyone to use from my general character bucket, just not on permanent assignment to Starbase Magellan) my new project of a second SSF "season" wouldn't work with him in the Archer System (most of the time.)

Lieutenant Commander Pseudo is an Starfleet Officer, who has recently joined the Alliance Exploration Initiative, in hopes of returning to Anthropology, in a peaceful Setting. During the Iconian War, he participated in a Think Tank, at Starfleet Command, with the sole Purpose of working together to determine what the motives of the Iconians were. He and the others used their combined knowledge in Anthropology, Psychology and battle strategies, to determine what made them tick and how best to combat it.
This Group, provided much of the insight that lead to the first battle in the Iconian System, where a third of the fleet was lost. This lays heavy on his Mind.
Many find it surprising that a blind man can succeed well in Starfleet, and the science Fields, but as he puts it, who best to study the minds of species, than someone who can actually read them.

I didn't intend to sound Mean. but I'm like every Most competent Players in STO. I put a lot of Thought into the names/backstories of my Characters. I've Actually Rewritten the Backstory of Pseudo to give him a new life, since I don't play him much anymore due to the changes to the game that have made it alt unfriendly. but there was a reasoning behind the name I gave him. Walking up to a Player/Foundry Author and Saying I really like the look of your Character, but the Name is kinda Stupid is like Walking up to a Parent and saying the same thing about their Kid.
Don't be surprised if they get angry, Punch you and then file a restraining order.
