Today Star Trek Online reaches its sixth anniversary, and everyone at the studio could not be prouder. We know as well as anyone that this is a feat that is rarely achieved, and our thanks go out to the community for their support, feedback, and long-term engagement with Star Trek Online.
Whether you prefer Earl Grey (ok), Coffee (awesome), or Romulan Ale (hell yes), let's raise a glass to six years and many more!

I can't wait to see all this

Maybe we could get a blast from the (Beta) past, and they could temporarily reintroduce the bug that when an player beamed down to a ground map, the avatar would be thier ship (for a short time) and the opposite for space?
I'd certainly like to see STO reach its 10th anniversary, at least. I've got a lot invested in this game and no reason to abandon it anytime soon.
Changes in technology might make STO rather dated by then, though. Here's hoping it ages well.

"...Star Trek Online has some amazing plans for this year, and since it’s the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek we’re pulling out all the stops. There are going to be new stories, new locations, and new celebrity voice talent to help make this one of the most feature and story rich years yet..."

I would like to hear more about the 50th anniversary stuff they have planned as well. If it doesn't turn out to be the best of the best of everything STO has seen since the games launch, I will be extremely disappointed! Don't rehash the Risian event for it! Don't cram it into a single half-arsed hour long mission! It needs to be a piece of content worthy of the Trek name and the 50th anniversary milestone! I don't know what it should be but I do have a few ideas, as I am sure the entire community has a ton of phenomenal ideas to contribute as well.
I would like to see a meet and greet mission with all of the Captain's and their crews, complements of Q, a trip into the Nexus, a visit from the Traveller, an encounter with a temporal anomaly, or one of the many other possible yet under used ideas from the Trek universe. Personally, I would like to see at least 5 missions, one for each series and based on each series, where I would interact with each captain and crew along with other main characters, on their ships, on a noteworthy level, like something we have seen from each series recreated to be in the game. Remember the tie-in with Riker and Trio on the Holodeck observing the NX Enterprise and how that tied the two series together? That is just one of the many ways that come to mind as a possible idea from the TV show that could be incorporated into the game.
Please do your best to make it original and not something that has been used repeatedly done in STO over and over again. You guys only get one shot to make this event epic. The community and the players expect nothing short the STO teams best of the best work to date!
The reward for the 50th anniversary needs to be fitting as well. It needs to be so good, it will easily get every player that has ever played along with new players wanting to come play. Each mission, based on each timeline, could have it's only smaller but awesome reward with something every player would want as a result of the grind. There are a lot of little things I can think of that I personally would really like to see in the game.
Defiant TOS uniform badges
Future Imperfect TNG badges
TNG dress uniforms
Admiral Picard's Future Imperfect uniform
ISS Enterprise skin for the TOS Connie
Romulan D7
Deputy Director Rank
Section 31 ship skins and banned/covert technology
A 50th anniversary trophy for our Ready Rooms
I am positive there are many other reward ideas I am not thinking off right now that could also be welcome rewards.
For the final reward, I would approach CBS and ask them for the blue prints for the new ship in the upcoming series. This ship will hopefully be something new that isn't already in the game, that could be created as a reward. If the ship class isn't new, then perhaps a Universe Class ship, as it is one ship that is missing from the game so far. Possibly even go as far as making Star Trek Online the only place to meet the new crew and see the new iconic ship of the new series before the new series airs.

Actually they will be introducing a new Federation uniform, and improved . . . body . . . physics and sliders

I said hookers, didn't I?
Rumor has it that Cryptic will be making her the special bridge officer reward in the 50th event
Sorry, Orion Females use their wiles to get what they want and control their men, they don't sell themselves short for a buck.
I don't consider them "Hookers" in any sense of the word.
