Anyone else that use shooter mode having Always Face Forward issues?

Posted a bug report about this here a few months ago and didn't get a response. Just wanting to find out if anyone else has this problem or just me.

In short, all but one of my characters now only shoots in the direction they are currently facing (i.e. the character model) and not in the direction the camera is facing; in other words, I could be using the camera too look one way and they are firing off to the side because I was strafing in that direction.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Found a solution that worked for me and for anyone else with this bug, Go into Options > Control tab > Shooter control scheme, Then apply "Reset to defaults", This will enable the hidden "Always face forward" setting.

One of your ground settings might be set for this, look to see if it is, as they are each set for each character individually.

Uh, shooter mode is supposed to always face the direction your character is facing.

I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.

I'm also having this issue too with the Shooter mode. It seems "Always face forward" in shooter mode somehow got disabled? Though it's available in Options/Controls tab for RPG control scheme, But not for the shooter control scheme. :(

Thanks ninthstar. Found another to way to fix it without resetting.

Assuming you have a character that still has "Always Face Forward" working, save your UI settings (Options > HUD > Save UI), then go to whichever characters are affected and then load your UI settings to fix it (Options > HUD > Load UI).

Note however that this will also transfer HUD placments, colur schemes, keybinds, the whole nine yards basically, when you do this, but since most of my characters use the same settings (bar colour schemes) its a small price to pay.

It's good to know however that there is a final resort option of resetting the UI to fix it :)

    PS

Sorry for the late response, haven't had a chance to check the forums in a while
