Like Newton on a meadow
Struck by the laws of gravitational attraction
I'm struck with you, Orion girl
Is it physical or is it a chemical reaction?
To your green apples in the moonlight
My heart is aglow!
I Sing the Body Star Trek Online

I Sing of the Body Star Trek,
Though it leaves me sore in the neck.
I’m free to roam
the galactic loam, with
phenomenal weapons and dominant tech.
I sing of my dreadnought Elachi,
though hardly of fashion Versacci,
It inspires dread
and leaves them all dead
and the battle space blooming and splotchy.
I Sing the Body Star Trek
with which I can give ‘em all heck
-who aren’t on my side.
Red names are my guide
as to whom I may murder and wreck.
I sing of my Nukaran sword,
which wonder begs biblical words.
It’s shatt’ring harmonics
spit shield-stripping sonics
that scream:
“Vengeance is mine, for I am the LORD!”
Sure, in-game we do win
but you see, all this killing’s a sin.
But with Star Fleet’s mandate
what was evil is great!
With righteous abandon
run amok with a grin!
We are all passengers on the train of life
on our roads cross each other
so that we are all signposts to others who crosses our path
on the journey through life's maze
for we have no maps or driving license
Without learning from each other
which path we must travel on
many tracks running parallel to our track
some others met on our cross for a brief moment
and that leaves a great footprint consisting through life's difficulties
Love was to me is just an illusion
Natures way of making population
Nothing more than a mere distraction
To people who seeks life's justification
To me everything is science and exploration
To travel space and explore new regions
Never worrying about love's tribulations
For such thing are not in my perception
But that all change when I met you
I finally found love and it was true
In your eyes I saw what I truly seek
A love that I've never dream't to meet
Although our races are far apart
My love for you will never depart
No force in space or other worlds can ever stop me
From claiming your love just for me
I am Human and your Iconian
Yet we know our Love is True
And we'll travel space and beyond it too
While exploring our love that to others are taboo
For our love know's no bound
Will never yield and always be sound
For as long as we're together that's all that matter
And we'll live happily ever after.
(to the tune of my favorite good morning song)((My own tune, doubt you will recognize it))
Oh Star Trek, Oh Star Trek
Oh lovable Star Trek,
I love you oh Star Trek
You've Got the Ships,
You've got the places,
You've got my heart locked tight,
Oh Star Trek, Oh Star Trek
Oh lovable Star Trek,
Will you be my...Valentine!
STO I LOVE YOU
Even with all the trial and error
I still love you
With all the map change crashs
I still love you
The problems we have had with amd driver problem
I love still love you
With my faults and with yours
The love we share and fun times and bad
STO Im still in love the you
My love is like a gold pressed bar
Of latnium freshly minted.
My love is like a used-shuttle contract
With words that are finely printed.
The Rules of Acquisition are fair
But fairer art thou, my bonnie rose.
With your short squat female Ferengi figure
Beneath and despite those disgusting clothes.
And I will love thee still, my dear
When death your soul unchains.
For I will not auction the very last disk
Of your vacuum desiccated remains.
The love ship sails across the sea, carrying its love from you to me. As it glides through salt and spray, I think of you night and day. As it tacks from left to right, I want you in my arms tonight. So love ship with your sails so wide, bring my love to stand as my bride. Then on your deck as in days gone by, we'll stand before the Captain with a twinkle in his eye. Then with dignity, honor, and fife, we will walk off together into a new life.
outlawed, it is an instant drunk
fit only for crystal goblets, state dinners
there are no Romulans now
to distill its sky blue vintage
oh blond thing! oh gray heart under
golden skin! Yar to your growling kin,
there are no Romulans now
except in cross-breeds and half-lives.
they are uncloaking, undoing their
spangled metal robes, praying birds.
there are no Romulans now
they take death over disgrace
born of warm space dust, a deadly twin
an outlaw colony, a whirling beauty.
but there are no Romulans now,
just shards of civilization among the stars
Blast off for a new world.
The Constellation tears the skies
as the Gold commands the bridge.
Fearless, he plunges us into the inky
black of space, leaving all we know behind us.
Engine room reports all ready, as we leap from the core
forward into the unknown; seeking, searching, hoping.
Stars like pricks of light that punctuate the black of space
rush past in a stream of hues
as we reach beyond into the very edges of the map,
drawing the lines the others will follow,
later,
when their turn arrives,
once we have pioneered these new worlds,
our Corps of Discovery into the agelessness of space.
Five years of discovery,
of danger and of the unknown.
Our pulses quicken at the rapture of our calling
into this, the final frontier left to explore.
Shine into the new suns,
blast through the remnants of stars long dead
as we seek what we do not know to find!
What life awaits in these untrod realms,
where familiar faces have never beheld the light?
Our Fleet has sent us forth
that we may know these truths,
these answers, and the questions they ask.
Call my name on the roster sheet,
send me into the black depths of the eternal,
unchanging sea.
Let me ply the heavens as we race forward
faster than the stars themselves
into new ages of adventure and exploration
where no one known to us
has ever been before.
To warp past ten into the void sublime,
to seek out distant worlds ejected far-
'twas there, flung in the dim of space and time
we came upon a wayward M-class star.
In orbit spun a gaseous planet, great,
where, beaming down, we came upon a fish
who swam a sea of silver perchlorate
and left a scale within our petri-dish.
Examined with our Federation gear
we studied long to see what we could see;
then from the greenish ooze, that which we feared-
a tiny spiral Jedi galaxy...
One motto guides us through the cosmic door-
"To boldly go where none have gone before.
Then we sat on the sand for some time and observed
How the oceans that cover the world were perturbed
By the tides from the orbiting moon overhead
'How relaxing the sound of the waves is,' you said.
I began to expound upon tidal effects
When you asked me to stop, looking somewhat perplexed.
So I did not explain why the sunset turns red
And we watched the occurrence, in silence, instead.

And if one only read the announcement here in the STO forums (which I reposted above) it says that where exactly??
Since I only read the STO Forums and don't go to the ARC forums because I had no interest in any of the other contests, my question is not entirely out of line.

for the benefit of those who cant read too well or perhaps the terran language is not their first one....post it here also so those poor souls can find out.
I need a valentine and I guess that you'll do
You ask who I am, I'll tell you; I'm Q
With a snap of my fingers and a flash of white light
Any problems you have, I can certainly make slight
We'll roam all of history and corner of space
Oh, the look of surprise and awe on your face
So join me and experience hellish and divine
But, valentine, only if you deign to be mine.
Space Fever
(heavily borrowed from John Masefield's "Sea Fever")
I must go out in to space again, for the call of adventure cries.
And all I ask is a Federation ship and the stars to steer her by.
With a steady hand & robust crew I'll take her forth with pride.
I must go out in to space again to a vagabond Captains life.
Where comets play & galaxies sway like whirlwinds in the night...

Whenever, baby, new I remember,
Ocean ice that appears before me
On the vault whitish star does not show,
Far hurt the yellow moon stain
And thousands of floes waves sudden rush
A bird with wings floating weary
When the pair before it was all gone
Like a whole cluster of birds, missing the sunset.
Threw glances behind hers had been afflicted,
Neither seems not bad now, no better that ...it dies,
Dreaming is in an instant with years back.
We are farther both,
Increasingly lonelier me is dark and freezing,
When you get lost in the eternal horizon morning.
It's a dark Cryptic game day. It seems like They don't care.
E-mergency up-keep, to try to fix the software.
All the players are resistant, and try to put up a fight.
The forums flare-up and then Trendy begins...
It's gonna be a long, night.
There She sits with her keyboard.
A gifted Mod we know well,
She must be thinking to herself,
"This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she queued up Her handle, and she showed us the way.
There were voices in forums now,
I thought I heard them say...
Welcome to the Cryptic Hacienda,
S-T-O's the place. (S-T-O's the place)
What a data-base.
Limited room at the Cryptic Hacienda.
When you try to log-in, (when you try to log-in)
...Is when the pain begins.
Her mind is Trekian-twisted, She's got the power to rend. uuh...
She's got a lot of pretty, pretty words, that She calls friends.
How they dance off Her keyboard, sweeeet, but don't fret.
Some dance to remind you, don't you ever forget.
So I called-up my log-in, "Please let me connect"
It said, ........."You haven't got the clearance dear, so you're, never gonna respec.
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Make you wish that the servers just might,
Let you in to play...
Welcome to the Cryptic Hacienda,
S-T-O's the place. (S-T-O's the place)
What a data-base.
Their limiting us at the Cryptic Hacienda.
What a wonderful guise. (what a wonderful guise)
It takes a hundred tries...
Mirror ships, are on clearance.
The Breen are bringing the ice.
Then She said... "We are all just waiting out here, while They add some more vice."
And In the Gecko's chambers,
They gather for the spiel.
They wonder what He'll dream up next,
...To make more players squeal.
Last thing I remember, I was...
Searching the C-Store.
I had to find a bundle there,
So my toon could still explore.
"Relax" said the forums,
"They are, programmed to deceive.
You can buy anything you like,
but you can never achieve!"
I'll be contacting you directly in order to coordinate getting you your prizes!

Violets are blue,
Resistance is futile,
We will assimilate you.
Struck by the laws of gravitational attraction

To your green apples in the moonlight
My heart is aglow!
the Love that lights the stars
and guides my path home.
Violets are blue
This Valentine’s day
Please let me blow your spaceship to smithereens.

Two beauties to love.
A woman so warm
And a ship up above.
To both he has sworn
To be faithful and true.
But soon he must choose
Which one of the two.
Will he decide
On the one he can hold.
Or shall he turn to
Adventures untold.
As he sits at the helm
The truth is made clear.
The ship is the one
His heart holds most dear.
