Is it possible to save UI Layouts?

So brief description of my issue:

I primarily play the game at home on my computer which runs at a resolution of 2560×1440.

Sometimes though, I play on my laptop from another location and the laptop resolution is your standard 1920x1080 resolution (1080p.)

If I set my UI on my home PC, when I load up the character on the laptop, the UI is smashed together, all the boxes are on top of one another and every time I play on the Laptop I have to re-arrange my HUD.

I'm curious if anyone knows a way that I can put things how I want them on the PC and save that layout, then do the same on the laptop and recall the specific UI layout with a /load command or something similar.

I thought I saw something a while back that said this could be done, but for the life of me I can't find it now.

Thanks.

I have a similiar issue theway I do it, is I go into options and change the UI scale. Everything pops back into place with that one thing.

Hmm, I'll have to try that.

My worst case scenario is that I just set it for the 1080p resolution. The only real effect is that the boxes are further apart then I normally like them on my home PC, but it's something I can live with.

I'll give the UI Scale a try, thanks.

There is some form of saving, but I am not exactly sure if it is related to UI or not, check in your options to check what is available for saving.

Options can usually be accessed via the [ESC] button, this is where you typically make adjustments to GFX settings, keybinds, volume, etc.

There you go, but the info given is a little vague, and I never got around figuring it out myself because I ended up playing something else on my laptop. I think what has to be done is to keep a copy of uisettings.txt locally on each computer, and swap it when needed.

Try to change display's resolution from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080 and after that launch STO.

I'll give that a look, thanks.

STO is the only game I have this issue with, every other game auto scales to the current resolution/aspect ratio. For whatever reason, it seems STO doesn't want to do it. Thanks for the info.
